Ducati Factory Made Programme: Ducati has launched a new factory-level customisation initiative called Ducati Factory Made (DFM), allowing customers to personalise their motorcycles with selected components installed directly during production. The programme has been introduced in Europe and currently applies to the Multistrada V4 range.

Factory-Level Personalisation
Unlike traditional accessory fitments carried out at dealerships, the Factory Made programme enables buyers to configure their motorcycle before production. Customers can select a range of components and specifications, which are then integrated on the assembly line.
The available options include multiple wheel types such as cast wheels in different colours, forged lightweight alloy wheels, and spoked wheels. Buyers can also customise elements like the rear frame finish, brake caliper colours, seat height for rider and passenger, and suspension settings based on their riding needs.
Equipment Packages for Different Use Cases

The programme also offers accessories drawn from Ducati’s existing Touring, Adventure, Sport, Tech, and Enduro packages. This allows customers to tailor the motorcycle according to its intended usage, whether for long-distance touring, off-road riding, or performance-focused road use.
For higher-spec variants such as the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak and Multistrada V4 RS, the configurator provides model-specific equipment, dedicated liveries, optional carbon components, auxiliary lighting, and alternative seat configurations.
Expanded Colour and Livery Options
A major focus of the Ducati Factory Made Programme is visual customisation. Ducati has organised colour choices into three categories — Icone, Style, and Sophistication — each offering different finishes and paint treatments.
Customers can also opt for Performance or Ducati Corse racing-inspired liveries. Additionally, the programme introduces five exclusive Ad Personam colours, developed through Ducati’s collaboration with Lamborghini.

Digital Configuration and Availability
The Ducati Factory Made Programme configurator is currently live on Ducati’s official website for European customers. Once a configuration is finalised, the selected build can be forwarded directly to a dealership for pricing and order processing.
At present, the programme is limited to Europe and the Multistrada V4 lineup, but Ducati is expected to expand the offering to additional models and markets over time.
What It Means for Indian Buyers
While the Ducati Factory Made Programme is not yet available in India, it signals Ducati’s move toward deeper factory-level personalisation. If introduced locally, it could allow Indian buyers to order customised motorcycles without relying on aftermarket modifications or dealer-installed accessories.
For now, the Ducati Factory Made Programme remains a Europe-only initiative, with further market expansion likely to be announced at a later stage.
Disclaimer: The Ducati Factory Made programme is currently available only in Europe for select models. Availability, features, and market rollout plans may vary and are subject to manufacturer updates.
