Mahindra’s upcoming born-electric SUV, the BE 07, has been spotted testing once again. The latest spy shots reveal some key details of the SUV’s exterior as well as cabin.

The biggest highlight of the Mahindra BE 07 Spotted test mule is its triple-screen dashboard setup, which has already been seen in the company’s premium electric SUVs.
The BE 07 will be the next major model in Mahindra’s expanding Born Electric portfolio. This SUV is being developed with a more practical and family-oriented design compared to the BE 6.
Its key highlights could be a tall and upright body, spacious cabin, advanced technology, and long-range battery options.

Mahindra BE 07 Spotted: Triple-Screen Dashboard Confirmed
The most noticeable feature of the cabin of the latest test mule is its triple-screen layout. The dashboard features a digital instrument cluster for the driver, a large infotainment display in the center, and a dedicated screen for the front passenger.
This setup is also found in premium electric models like Mahindra’s XEV 9e and XEV 9S. The advantage of a separate display for the passenger is that the co-driver can access navigation, media, and other supported functions without disturbing the driver’s main screen.
The cabin of the BE 07 appears to follow Mahindra’s Electric Origin design philosophy. The dashboard features a clean and minimal layout, while the floating center console creates an open and modern feel to the cabin.
The BE 07’s design will be different from the BE 6.
In contrast to the BE 6’s coupe-SUV design, the BE 07’s exterior is comparatively tall and upright. The Mahindra BE 07 spotted test vehicle was in heavy camouflage, but its overall silhouette clearly reveals the SUV’s practical character.
Better headroom is expected for rear passengers due to the taller roofline. Furthermore, the rear section isn’t as heavily sloping as the BE 6, so boot space could also be relatively practical.
Flush-fitting door handles were also seen on the test mule. Large aerodynamic alloy wheels fill the SUV’s wheel arches, while frameless doors could highlight its premium positioning.
The rear section is expected to include a roof-mounted spoiler and a clamshell-style tailgate with integrated wipers. A large rear quarter glass could help give the cabin a more airy feel.
C-shaped LED DRLs and a similar LED tail-lamp treatment are also expected on the BE 07, mirroring the design language of Mahindra’s latest electric models.

A Long List of Premium Features Will Be Available
Mahindra is likely to position the BE 07 as a premium electric SUV, so the feature list is also expected to be quite extensive.
The SUV could feature a fixed panoramic glass roof, powered and ventilated front seats with memory function, dual-zone climate control, and multi-color ambient lighting.
The infotainment and connectivity package is expected to include wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual wireless charging pads, a Harman Kardon sound system, and connected-car technology.
If these features are available in the production model, the BE 07’s cabin could take a strong technological position alongside Mahindra’s existing premium EV lineup.
ADAS and Safety Features

According to the source, the BE 07 could be offered with 59kWh and 79kWh battery packs. The larger battery version is expected to have a claimed range of over 600 km. However, final battery specifications and certified range will only be confirmed at launch.
RWD and dual-motor AWD options are also expected for the drivetrain. The RWD version will focus on range and efficiency, while the AWD variant could offer stronger performance and better traction.

Launch Expected in 2027
The Mahindra BE 07 is expected to make its global debut in 2027. The company could position it as one of the next important products in its electric Origin lineup.
The expected starting price is around Rs. 29 lakh ex-showroom. Pricing for larger battery and AWD variants could be considerably higher. These figures are currently expected, and official pricing will be confirmed at launch.
Mahindra BE 07 Rivals
Upon launch, the BE 07 could face competition from multiple models in the premium electric SUV segment. The Tata Harrier EV and the upcoming MG Hector Hawk EV could be key rivals.
Buyers of lower variants can also consider the Tata Sierra EV, BYD Atto 3, VinFast VF7, and Hyundai Creta Electric. The BE 07’s practical SUV design and technology-loaded cabin could give it a distinct positioning in the segment.
