Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq Edition to Feature a 3-Screen Dashboard

The most significant change in the Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq Edition’s cabin will be the dashboard. The company will offer a three-screen setup, including a dedicated display for the front passenger.
This passenger screen is reminiscent of the setup found in Mahindra’s XEV 9e and XEV 9s. With this change, the front passenger may also get a separate entertainment and information display.
The teaser reveals changes to the dashboard, seats, and upholstery. The Sporteq Edition will be offered with a brown interior theme, which is expected to give the cabin a more premium appearance than the standard BE 6.
A New Matte Grey Color Will Also Be Available
Mahindra has also teased a new matte grey color for the exterior of the BE 6 Sporteq Edition. The matte finish could make the SUV’s sharp design elements more prominent.
However, the teaser does not clarify whether this color will be limited to the Sporteq Edition or will be made available in other variants of the BE 6 in the future.

Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq Edition Features
The new special edition is expected to retain many of the standard BE 6’s key features. The SUV already offers a long list of technology and safety features.
It includes features like an ADAS suite, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, and reclining rear seats. It also offers dual-zone climate control and an electrically adjustable driver seat.
The BE 6 also offers 65W Type-C charging ports and DC fast charging. A new passenger screen in the Sporteq Edition, along with these features, could further enhance the cabin experience.
What about the battery and range?
The Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq Edition is not expected to feature major powertrain changes at the moment. According to available information, it could be offered with the existing 59kWh and 79kWh battery pack options.
The BE 6 with the 79kWh battery pack has a claimed range of up to 683km. However, Mahindra has not yet confirmed the exact range and battery-wise specifications for the Sporteq Edition.
It’s therefore best to wait for the official specifications to be revealed at launch.
Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq Edition Price & Launch Date

The Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq Edition will be launched in India on August 15th. The company will officially reveal its price and other details around that time.
No confirmed information has been provided regarding its expected price. Given the new three-screen setup, updated upholstery, and matte grey color, its positioning may be slightly different from the standard BE 6 variants.
Why is the new Sporteq Edition special?
The BE 6 is already known for its futuristic design and technology-focused cabin. The addition of a passenger screen to the Sporteq Edition is a significant update, making it even more premium.
The brown interior and matte grey exterior will give it a distinct visual identity. However, with no major changes to the battery and range, the primary focus will remain on design, cabin experience, and additional technology.
