Mahindra BE 07 Spied Again: Triple-Screen Cabin, Clearer Exterior Design Revealed

The Mahindra BE 07 has been spotted testing once again. The latest test mule reveals a much clearer exterior design of the SUV than before.

Despite the Mahindra BE 07 Spied with heavy camouflage, some details have emerged regarding the front lighting, flush-type door handles, aero-optimized wheels, and rear profile.

The Mahindra BE 07 is being developed on the company’s INGLO electric platform. It will be positioned above Mahindra’s existing electric SUVs, and a production version has been confirmed to launch in 2027.

Mahindra BE 07 Spied: What’s Spotted in the Front Design?

The front section of the BE 07 is camouflaged in the latest Mahindra BE 07 Spied shots, but some major design elements are clearly visible.

The SUV is expected to feature slim LED DRLs, whose design appears to be inspired by the Mahindra BE 6’s C-shaped lighting signature. The main headlamps can be seen in a vertical position below the DRLs.

Being an electric SUV, the front grille area is largely closed-off. Air inlets for cooling can also be seen on the lower bumper.

The design of the production-spec model appears to be slightly toned-down compared to the concept version. The earlier concept had an ORVM setup with cameras, while the spotted test mule has conventional outside rear-view mirrors.

Flush Door Handles and Aero Wheels

In side profile, the BE 07’s overall silhouette appears to be that of a relatively traditional SUV. Its length is expected to be approximately 4.6 meters.

Flush-fitting/retractable door handles have been spotted in the test mule. The SUV is also expected to feature large, aero-optimized alloy wheels and prominent cladding on the lower body.

Mahindra’s original BE.07 concept measured 4,565mm in length, 1,900mm in width, and 1,660mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,775mm. The exact dimensions of the production model have not yet been officially confirmed.

Triple-Screen Layout to Be Found in the Cabin

The most interesting detail about the Mahindra BE 07 Spied cabin could be its triple-screen dashboard layout.

The original BE.07 concept previewed a dashboard-spanning triple-screen setup, and Mahindra’s current Inglo-based SUVs, such as the XEV 9e and XEV 9S, also feature wide-screen technology. Therefore, there’s a strong possibility that the production BE 07 will feature a similar setup.

Expected cabin highlights could include:

  • Triple-screen dashboard setup
  • Modern steering wheel
  • Illuminated BE logo
  • Multicolor ambient lighting
  • Glass roof
  • Wireless phone charging
  • Premium connected-car technology
  • 5-seat layout

However, these features have not been officially confirmed by Mahindra for the production version of the BE 07; they should be considered expected features for now.

Mahindra BE 07 Battery and Range

The BE 07 is being developed on Mahindra’s INGLO born-electric platform. This same architecture underpins models like the BE 6, XEV 9e, and XEV 9S.

According to the latest reports, the BE 07 may carry forward the battery options from existing INGLO models. It is expected to feature 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery packs.

However, Mahindra has not yet revealed the official range, motor output, and charging specifications of the BE 07. Therefore, it would not be correct to directly associate the BE 6’s numbers with the BE 07 at this time.

For reference, Mahindra’s existing Inglo-based BE 6 is available with 59kWh and 79kWh battery options, but the BE 07’s final specifications may differ.

Mahindra BE 07 Launch Date

Mahindra’s previous product roadmap listed the BE 07 for an October 2026 launch. However, in February 2026, the company confirmed the 2027 launch of its next electric offering. This means the BE 07 has been delayed from its original timeline.

The latest available listings also show the BE 07’s expected launch as 2027.

Mahindra BE 07 Rival

Upon launch, the BE 07 will primarily compete in the premium electric SUV segment.

Expected rivals could include models like the:

  • Tata Harrier EV
  • VinFast VF7
  • BYD Atto 3
  • Mahindra XEV 9e

The BE 07 is expected to be positioned more practical and conventionally SUV-oriented than the BE 6. Mahindra CEO Rajesh Jejurikar also described the BE 07 as a potential high-volume product for the company.

What to expect from the Mahindra BE 07?

The Mahindra BE 07 is interesting because the company is moving towards a relatively practical, family-focused electric SUV this time, rather than a sporty design like the BE 6.

The latest Mahindra BE 07 Spied shots clearly indicate that the production model will be somewhat toned-down from the concept, but the premium appeal may be maintained with flush door handles, aerodynamic wheels, and modern lighting.

The biggest questions right now are battery range, motor specifications, charging capability, and final pricing. If Mahindra offers the existing INGLO technology in the BE 07 at a competitive price, it could compete against rivals like the Harrier EV and VF7.

Currently, the BE 07’s strongest points are its INGLO platform, expected 59kWh/79kWh battery options, spacious 5-seat SUV format, and technology-focused cabin. The final verdict will be given only after the official specifications are revealed closer to launch.

Source Note: Mahindra has not yet announced the final production specifications, official range, motor output, and pricing of the BE 07; hence, these details are mentioned as expected in the article.
