Skoda Auto India has launched a new Sportline variant in the Kylaq lineup. Its ex-showroom price is between Rs. 11.32 lakh and Rs. 12.32 lakh.
The new Skoda Kylaq Sportline trim is positioned between the Signature+ and Prestige variants.

The Kylaq Sportline features blacked-out exterior and interior elements to differentiate it from the regular variants. The car is powered by the same 1.0-liter TSI turbo-petrol engine, offered with manual and automatic transmission options.

The new Sportline variant is positioned above the Signature+ and below the Prestige in the Kylaq range.
Skoda Kylaq Sportline Exterior: Blacked-Out Elements
Several exterior elements have been blacked out to visually distinguish the Sportline variant from the regular Kylaq.
It features 17-inch alloy wheels, ORVMs, faux skid plates on the roof and both bumpers finished in black. The SUV also features a roof-mounted spoiler.
New Sportline badges are found on the C-pillar and tailgate. The Skoda wordmark between the rear taillights is also finished in black.
The Sportline variant is the most affordable version of the Kylaq lineup, featuring LED fog lamps with cornering function and projector LED headlights. Lower-spec variants feature LED reflector-based headlights.

Skoda Kylaq Sportline Dark Cabin Theme and Aluminum Pedals
The exterior theme is continued in the interior of the Kylaq Sportline. The cabin is finished with a darker theme.
It features black leatherette seats with contrasting white stitching. The front headrests feature the Sportline inscription.
Aluminum pedals and white ambient lighting complement the sportier cabin theme.

Mechanically, no major changes have been made to the Kylaq Sportline. It has a 1.0-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol engine.
This 3-cylinder engine generates 115hp power and 178Nm torque.
Transmission options include 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox.

Customers can also choose a dedicated Sportline accessory pack to further personalize the Kylaq Sportline.
This pack includes:
- Front bumper corner garnishes
- Dark-chrome grille garnish
- Fender garnishes with Skoda logo
- Gloss-black side moldings
Skoda has not yet announced the price of this accessory pack.
Further Updates to the Kylaq Range
With the launch of the Sportline variant, Skoda has also made some additional features standard on the base-spec Classic trim of the Kylaq.
Automatic climate control (Auto AC) and a rear defogger will now be available from the Classic variant.

The Skoda Kylaq Sportline could be an interesting option for buyers who want the regular Kylaq’s practical package along with a slightly sportier exterior and darker interior theme.
The biggest highlights of this variant are its blacked-out styling package, 17-inch alloy wheels, Sportline-specific detailing and projector LED headlights. The 1.0L TSI engine is also available with both manual and automatic gearbox options.
