Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is preparing to expand its electric portfolio with the next-generation Range Rover Velar EV, which is expected to make its global debut in late 2026. The all-electric model will replace the current combustion-powered Velar and will mark the second generation of the nameplate, which has been on sale since 2017.

Production of the Velar EV is likely to begin in early 2027 at JLR’s Halewood facility in the United Kingdom.
