Exterior Design Gets Sharper Updates
In terms of design, Skoda has retained the Slavia’s overall clean and understated character, but the front profile has been made noticeably sharper. The sedan gets revised L-shaped LED DRLs, a redesigned front bumper, and LED fog lamps with cornering function. A faux carbon-fiber insert has also been added to the lower section of the front grille.

Changes to the side profile are relatively subtle. The car gets new 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. An important mechanical-related exterior change is that variants with the 1.5-liter engine now also get rear disc brakes.
The rear section gets updated LED tail-lamp graphics along with dynamic turn indicators. Connected-looking faux carbon-fiber trim on the tailgate and a chrome strip across the redesigned bumper are also available.
For buyers who prefer a sportier look, a Monte Carlo version is also available. It features blacked-out exterior elements, red accents, and an all-black interior treatment.
New Colors Added
The updated Slavia is offered with a total of 10 exterior color options. This list includes Arctic Silver, Cappuccino Beige, Shimla Green, Steel Grey, Brilliant Silver, Candy White, Carbon Steel, Cherry Red, Deep Black, and Lava Blue.
Deliveries of the Cappuccino Beige color have also been announced, starting in December 2026.
Cabin Gets More Features and Technology

The basic layout of the interior remains largely familiar. The dual-tone black and beige cabin theme, two-spoke steering wheel, and piano-black dashboard inserts continue. However, the equipment list in the facelift has been considerably upgraded.
The most important additions include a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display and an updated 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The infotainment system supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, while integrated Google Assistant is also available.
On the comfort front, the major highlight of the Slavia facelift is the rear-seat messaging function, which is positioned as a first-of-its-kind feature in the segment. The car also gets a single-pane electric sunroof and a wireless phone charger.
Front parking sensors with a 360-degree camera are also offered to make parking and low-speed maneuvering easier.

Safety Features
Safety equipment includes six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, hill-hold control, and a tire pressure monitoring system. Front parking sensors and a 360-degree camera are also part of the safety and convenience package. 1.5-liter engine variants get rear disc brakes.
However, an important point is that ADAS technology is not available in the updated Slavia, while some newer rivals offer this feature set.
Same Engines, But New 8-Speed Automatic

The powertrain lineup remains unchanged. The Slavia facelift continues with the same 1.0-liter turbo-petrol and 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engines.
The 1.0-litre TSI produces 115 PS and 178 Nm, while the larger 1.5-litre TSI develops 150 PS and 250 Nm. The 1.0-litre engine can be paired with a 6-speed manual or the new 8-speed torque-converter automatic. The 1.5-litre engine continues with the 7-speed DSG.
The new 8-speed automatic is the biggest mechanical change in the facelift. It replaces the previous 6-speed automatic on the 1.0-litre TSI and adds more ratios, which should help deliver smoother everyday driving and keep the engine closer to its ideal power band.
Skoda Slavia Facelift: Rivals
The updated Slavia continues to compete in the midsize sedan segment against cars such as the Volkswagen Virtus, Hyundai Verna and Honda City. Its combination of turbo-petrol engines, manual and automatic gearbox choices, updated features and driver-focused character remains central to its positioning.
Auto India Daily Verdict
The 2026 Skoda Slavia Facelift is more of an evolutionary update rather than a completely new-generation sedan. Skoda has retained the familiar engines and overall design philosophy, while adding sharper styling, more technology and useful comfort features.
The new 8-speed automatic is arguably the most important mechanical change, while features such as the 360-degree camera and rear-seat massage function make the Slavia more feature-rich than before. Starting at Rs. 9.99 lakh, the facelift keeps the sedan accessible at the entry level while the range-topping Monte Carlo 1.5 TSI DSG reaches Rs. 18.84 lakh.
