7:40 PM IST — MotoGP Austrian 2026 Practice LIVE: Acosta tops practice, Martin P2 and Marc Marquez P4

Pedro Acosta set the fastest time in the Austrian GP practice session to top the session. The KTM rider beat Fermin Aldeguer and Ai Ogura, while Jorge Martin secured second place.

Marc Marquez finished fourth. The final top 10 also included Jorge Martin, Fabio Di Giannantonio, Brad Binder, Alex Marquez, Marco Bezzecchi, and Fabio Quartararo. A red flag was also deployed after Alex Marquez crashed during practice.

7:27 PM IST — MotoGP Austrian 2026 Practice LIVE: Alex Marquez crashes, red flag deployed

Alex Marquez crashed during the practice session, bringing out the red flag. According to TNT Sports’ live commentary, Alex was thrown from his bike after an accidental wheelie on the straight. The bike hit a fence and landed on the track area, forcing the session to be temporarily halted.

According to the live feed, Alex Marquez is fine, but after the crash, it is essential to clear the track and make racing conditions safe. Jorge Martin was in the cut-off area at the time of the incident, while Francesco Bagnaia was running in 17th position.


6:55 PM IST — MotoGP Austrian 2026 Practice LIVE: Acosta fastest, Bezzecchi second

Pedro Acosta has been the fastest in the early stages of the practice session at the Red Bull Ring. Marco Bezzecchi is in second place behind the KTM rider, while Jorge Martin is currently in 10th position, close to the Q2 direct-entry cut-off.
