Kawasaki India has launched its entry-level supersport motorcycle, the 2027 Kawasaki Ninja 300. The ex-showroom price of the new model has been kept at Rs 3.34 lakh, which is Rs 17,000 more than the outgoing version.

Despite the price hike, the motorcycle has not received any major mechanical or styling overhaul. This time, Kawasaki has retained the proven package and provided some practical updates, which include revised tyres and premium features that were already available.
The Ninja 300 has its own fan base in the Indian market. While most motorcycles in this segment come with single-cylinder engines, the Ninja 300 still offers buyers a unique riding experience with its smooth parallel-twin engine.

Familiar Design Still Looks Sporty
The overall design of the new model remains the same. Kawasaki has continued the aggressive full-fairing styling, which still conveys the feel of a premium supersport motorcycle.
Twin projector LED headlamps have been provided at the front, the design of which appears to be inspired by the Ninja ZX-6R.
Additionally, a larger floating windscreen, sharp side fairing, and a compact rear section give the motorcycle a sporty appearance. The 2027 model is currently only available in a Lime Green color option, which further highlights Kawasaki’s racing identity.
The design may be dated, but even today the Ninja 300’s road presence is second to none.
Proven 296cc Parallel-Twin Engine Continues
Kawasaki hasn’t experimented with performance. The motorcycle is powered by the same 296cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, known for its smoothness and reliability for years.
This engine produces 39 PS of maximum power at 11,000 rpm and 26.1 Nm of peak torque at 10,000 rpm. A 6-speed gearbox and assist and slipper clutch are standard.

Suspension and Braking Setup
The motorcycle is based on a steel-tube diamond frame. Suspension duties are handled by 37mm telescopic forks at the front and a gas-charged Uni-Trak monoshock at the rear, with five-step preload adjustment.
Braking is handled by disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels. The motorcycle comes with dual-channel ABS, which provides additional confidence during emergency braking.
Kawasaki has introduced a revised tire pattern for the 2027 model. According to the company, the new tires will provide better grip and improved road feedback, which can further enhance the overall riding experience.
