Jawa 42 Ivory Colour: Classic Legends has introduced a new Ivory colour option for the Jawa 42, priced at Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The update is cosmetic in nature, with no mechanical changes to the motorcycle.
With this addition, the Jawa 42 is now available in 15 colour options, further expanding the model’s customisation appeal in the retro roadster segment.

What’s New in the Ivory Edition
The new finish features a pastel ivory shade with a subtle beige tone, aimed at enhancing the motorcycle’s classic styling. The colour is paired with retro-inspired graphics, including a ‘forty two’ script across the fuel tank and rear fender.
Contrasting ‘42’ graphics have been added to the side panels and the headlight nacelle. A chequered flag motif on the teardrop-shaped fuel tank references classic racing motorcycles from the 1960s and 1970s.
Apart from the new paint scheme and decals, the overall design remains unchanged. The motorcycle continues with its familiar silhouette, offset instrument cluster, and existing bodywork.
Jawa 42 Ivory Colour- Engine & Mechanical Details

The Jawa 42 Ivory retains the same powertrain as the standard model. It is powered by a 294cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 27.3 hp and 26.8 Nm of torque.
The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox, and the motorcycle continues to offer disc brakes at both ends along with dual-channel ABS, depending on the variant. There are no changes to the chassis, suspension, or feature list.
Positioning in the Lineup
The Ivory shade sits towards the higher end of the Jawa 42 range, which currently starts at Rs 1.59 lakh (ex-showroom). The update allows the brand to refresh the model visually without altering its mechanical package.
What It Means for Buyers

For buyers, the Jawa 42 Ivory Colour option adds another styling choice without affecting performance or ownership experience. The expanded palette is likely to appeal to customers looking for a more distinctive, retro-themed finish in the mid-capacity classic motorcycle segment.
The Jawa 42 Ivory Colour is now available across authorised dealerships in India, with pricing and specifications unchanged apart from the new cosmetic update.
