Jawa All Stars 42: What To Expect
The upcoming Jawa All Stars 42 is expected to follow the same formula used on the 42 FJ and 42 Bobber.
The motorcycle should get fresh colour options and new graphics, giving the existing model a visual refresh without changing its overall character.
The familiar design elements are expected to continue, including:
- Teardrop-shaped fuel tank
- Round headlight
- Single-piece seat
- Twin exhaust setup
- Classic roadster styling
The current Jawa 42 is offered in Ivory and All Stars Black, so the new edition could expand the colour palette with additional finishes.

Engine & Mechanical Details

There are not expected to be any major mechanical changes with the All Stars 42.
The motorcycle is likely to retain its 294cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, producing 27.3 PS and 26.8 Nm. A 6-speed gearbox is expected to continue as standard.
The existing suspension setup is also likely to remain unchanged, with a telescopic front fork and twin rear shock absorbers.
The bike rides on an 18-inch front wheel and 17-inch rear wheel, while braking duties are handled by disc brakes at both ends.
Dual-channel ABS is expected to remain standard.
Features Expected on Jawa All Stars 42

The upcoming Jawa All Stars 42 is expected to retain the motorcycle’s existing equipment list, including its circular LCD instrument console.
The console displays essential information such as:
- Speed
- Tachometer
- Odometer
- Trip meter
The focus of this update is therefore expected to be styling rather than a major technology overhaul.
Jawa All Stars 42 Expected Price
The current Jawa 42 is priced at Rs. 1,84,950 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Since the All Stars update is expected to bring mainly cosmetic changes, we expect the new Jawa All Stars 42 to be priced close to the existing motorcycle. The exact price will be revealed at the launch tomorrow.

Jawa All Stars 42 Rivals

Once launched, the Jawa All Stars 42 will continue to compete in the retro roadster segment.
Its key rivals include the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 and Royal Enfield Classic 350.
The updated colour options and graphics could help Jawa give the 42 a fresh appeal without making major changes to the motorcycle underneath.
Jawa All Stars 42 Launch: What Happens Tomorrow?
The launch will reveal the new colour options, graphics, exact price and final equipment list of the All Stars 42.
If Jawa follows the same approach used with the 42 FJ and 42 Bobber, the upcoming motorcycle should essentially be a visual refresh rather than a comprehensive update.
Auto India Daily Verdict
The Jawa All Stars 42 doesn’t appear to be a major mechanical update, but that may not necessarily be a bad thing. The existing 42 already has a strong retro roadster identity, and fresh colours and graphics could give it the visual refresh it needs.
The biggest question will be pricing. If Jawa keeps the premium for the All Stars treatment reasonable, the updated 42 could become a more attractive option for buyers looking for a classic-looking motorcycle without stepping into the larger 350cc segment.
