Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gorkha Edition in Military Green Color

The biggest visual update to the Classic 350 Gorkha Edition is its new light military green or olive green matte paint finish. This color appears to be inspired by military vehicles and is associated with the Gorkha Regiment.
Royal Enfield has not yet revealed the official name of this color. However, its military-green appearance makes it quite distinct from other color options of the regular Classic 350.
Gorkha Edition graphics are also featured on the fuel tank and side panels. The side panel features Gorkha Edition branding with a crossed Khukri motif. The Khukri is a traditional symbol associated with Gorkha soldiers, so this graphic makes this special edition theme unique.
No major design changes
The overall design of the Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gorkha Edition remains the same as the regular Classic 350. No major changes are known to its body panels, cycle parts, or overall silhouette.
The bike retains the round headlamp, round mirrors, familiar Classic 350 bodywork, and two-piece rider-pillion seat setup. The chrome headlamp bezel and chrome exhaust also maintain its classic look.
The bike also features chrome wire-spoke wheels. This means that instead of completely modernizing this special edition, Royal Enfield has chosen to retain the Classic 350’s traditional design with a military-inspired theme.
Tribute to the Gorkha Regiment
The most distinctive aspect of the Classic 350 Gorkha Edition is its Gorkha Regiment-inspired theme. The Gorkha Regiments are among the prestigious infantry units of the Indian Army and are known for their bravery, discipline, and combat skills.
The crossed Khukri motif on the side panel reflects this military connection. The famous battle cry “Aayo Gorkhali!” associated with Gorkha soldiers is also a part of their identity.
With this special edition, Royal Enfield has attempted to connect the Classic 350 with the Gorkha Regiment, rather than simply presenting it with new colors and graphics.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gorkha Edition – Features

The Classic 350 Gorkha Edition is expected to feature the familiar equipment setup of the existing Classic 350. According to spy shots, it features a semi-digital instrument cluster with an LCD display along with an analogue speedometer.
Furthermore, the wire-spoke wheels, two-piece seat setup, round mirrors and chrome-finished components retain its classic character.
This bike does not feature the Tripper navigation pod. Royal Enfield recently updated the dual-channel ABS variants of the Classic 350 with assist and slipper clutch and a USB Type-C fast charging port. These features are also expected to be available in the Gorkha Edition.
However, as per available information, no major equipment overhaul has been done in the Gorkha Edition.
The 349cc Engine Will Remain Unchanged
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gorkha Edition will be powered by the same 349cc single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled J-Series engine that powers the current Classic 350.
This engine produces 20.2 bhp of power and 27 Nm of maximum torque. It is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
This clearly indicates that the Gorkha Edition is not being offered as a performance-oriented special edition. Its primary focus is on the design, color scheme, and Gorkha-inspired identity.
Suspension and Braking Setup Also the Same

No major changes are expected in the mechanical setup. The bike will feature telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers.
Braking will be handled by front and rear disc brakes, along with dual-channel ABS. This means that the chassis, suspension, and braking hardware will carry forward the familiar setup of the regular Classic 350.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gorkha Edition Price
Royal Enfield has not yet officially announced the price of the Classic 350 Gorkha Edition. Pricing details are expected to be revealed during the launch on August 18, 2026.
Since this is a special edition based on the existing Classic 350, and the main changes are limited to color, graphics, and a few feature additions, it will be interesting to see how it will be priced compared to the regular range.
Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gorkha Edition Launch Date & Deliveries
The launch date for the Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gorkha Edition is August 18, 2026. Units have already begun arriving at dealership yards, indicating that deliveries will not be long after launch.
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 is already available in several variants, including Heritage Classic, Heritage Premium, Signals, Dark, Classic Chrome, and Redditch. The Gorkha Edition could find a place in this lineup as a separate special edition.
Auto India Daily verdict
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gorkha Edition could be a great fit for buyers who want a distinct, military-inspired identity alongside Royal Enfield’s classic design.
While there are no major mechanical changes, the matte military green color, Gorkha Edition graphics, and crossed Khukri motif visually distinguish it from the regular Classic 350.
Best of all, Royal Enfield has retained the original Classic 350 character. The 349cc J-Series engine, relaxed riding nature, and traditional styling remain, while the special edition treatment makes it more distinctive.
The biggest question now is its price, which will be revealed on August 18th. If pricing is more aggressive, it could prove to be an interesting special edition addition to the Classic 350 lineup.
