Suzuki e Access Sales: Suzuki Motorcycle India has delivered a total of 370 units of its first electric scooter, the e-Access, to customers as of February 14, 2026, according to Vahan registration data. The company had dispatched 703 units to dealerships during January, based on wholesale figures reported by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM).

Suzuki e Access Sales- January Dispatch vs Retail Numbers

Out of the 703 units dispatched in January, 201 scooters were registered and delivered during the month. This translates to a 0.16 percent share of the approximately 1.23 lakh electric two-wheelers retailed across India in January 2026.
Between February 1 and February 14, an additional 169 units were delivered, taking the cumulative retail figure to 370 units. The data indicates a gradual increase in deliveries, though overall volumes remain modest compared to the broader electric two-wheeler market.
Pricing and Market Position
The Suzuki e-Access is priced at ₹1.88 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), placing it at the premium end of the electric scooter segment. Its higher price positions it above some of the country’s best-selling electric two-wheelers, including the TVS iQube and Bajaj Chetak, which may be influencing early demand levels.
To address ownership concerns, Suzuki is offering a 7-year or 80,000 km extended warranty at no additional cost. The company is also providing a 60 percent buyback assurance after three years, aimed at improving resale confidence and reducing total cost of ownership.
Battery and Key Specifications

The e-Access is built on Suzuki’s in-house e-Technology platform and uses a 3 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery. The company states that LFP chemistry offers longer service life and improved durability compared to conventional NMC battery types.
The scooter has a claimed IDC range of 95 km on a full charge. Suzuki also notes that the battery and drivetrain have undergone extensive testing under conditions such as water exposure, thermal stress, vibration, and drop scenarios, in line with its global validation standards.
What This Means for Buyers
For Indian buyers, the early Suzuki e Access Sales figures suggest that the e-Access is still in its initial market adoption phase. While Suzuki’s reliability credentials and long warranty coverage may appeal to cautious EV adopters, the premium pricing places it in a competitive segment where value and range remain key decision factors.
Suzuki began production of the e-Access in May 2025 and entered retail sales about seven-and-a-half months later. The coming months will be critical in determining whether dealer availability, customer awareness, and ownership incentives help the model gain stronger traction in India’s fast-growing electric two-wheeler market.
