Tata Punch EV Prices Hiked: Tata Motors has revised the prices of the Punch EV. The September 2026 price revision saw an increase of Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 20,000 on select variants.

Tata Punch EV Prices Hiked: Variant-Wise Details

The Punch EV is offered with 30kWh and 40kWh battery options. The entry-level variants with the 30kWh battery have seen a price hike of Rs, 10,000, while the 40kWh battery variants have seen a price increase of Rs. 20,000.

After this revision, the Punch EV has a starting price of ₹9.79 lakh, while the top-spec Empowered+ S variant is priced at Rs. 12.99 lakh.

Tata Punch EV Gets Two Battery Options

The current-generation Punch EV is offered with 30kWh and 40kWh battery packs. The 40kWh version has an ARAI-certified range of up to 468km, while the 30kWh battery offers a claimed range of around 365km.

Power output also varies depending on battery capacity. The 30kWh version produces 87bhp and 154Nm, while the 40kWh version gets the more powerful setup with around 127bhp and 154Nm.

The Tata Punch EV features a front-mounted electric motor with an automatic transmission, and a larger battery version offers a higher claimed range for long-distance use.

Punch EV Facelift Gets Updated Design

Tata facelifted the Punch EV in February 2026. The updated model features a revised front bumper, closed-off grille, and refreshed lighting elements. The rear profile features a full-width LED light bar and a revised bumper design.

In the cabin, the overall dashboard layout is familiar, but the updated Punch EV gets features like a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display. Higher variants also get ventilated front seats, wireless charging, and additional convenience features.

Tata Punch EV Safety Features

The safety package of the Punch EV facelift includes six airbags, electronic stability control, ABS with EBD, tyre-pressure monitoring and ISOFIX anchors as standard. Higher variants get features like surround-view camera, blind-spot monitoring, electronic parking brake with auto-hold and rain-sensing wipers.
