The Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq is positioned as the flagship variant of the range. The biggest highlight of this electric SUV is its new triple 12.3-inch screen setup.
Apart from this, the dashboard design has also been updated and the cabin has been given a fresh black-and-tan theme. Mahindra has also added new connected and software-based features to this variant, including Google Gemini integration.

Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq Price
Prices for the Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq start at Rs. 19.45 lakh (ex-showroom). This makes it the new flagship variant of the standard BE 6 range. The regular Mahindra BE 6 is currently priced between ₹18.90 lakh and ₹26.90 lakh (ex-showroom).

With the launch of the Sporteq variant, Mahindra has made the BE 6 more technology-focused. However, the company has not made any major mechanical changes to this variant.
Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq Design
In terms of design, the BE 6 Sporteq’s overall exterior design remains similar to the standard BE 6. The SUV’s coupe-style silhouette, sharp body creases, flush-fitting door handles, and 20-inch alloy wheels continue its sporty appearance.
The exterior features ‘Sporteq’ badging to identify the Sporteq variant. The SUV also gets a new Graphite Storm paint shade. Overall design changes are limited, but this variant stands out from the standard BE 6 through its special badging and color options.
Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq Interior

The biggest update to the Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq interior involves the dashboard and screen layout. The Sporteq features three 12.3-inch displays instead of the standard BE 6’s dual-screen setup. This setup is similar to the layout seen in Mahindra’s XEV 9e and XEV9s.
The dashboard has also been completely redesigned. The standard BE 6 featured a halo-like loop separating the driver and co-driver areas, but the Sporteq has a comparatively clean and horizontal dashboard layout instead.
The new dashboard design also makes it easier to access the wireless charging pad and USB Type-C ports. Additional storage space has also been created in the cabin. The interior features a black-and-tan color theme, revised upholstery, and updated dashboard trim.

Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq Features
In terms of features, the Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq has been made more technology-focused than the regular BE 6. The SUV continues to offer features like a panoramic glass roof, a Harman Kardon audio system, ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected car technology, a 360-degree camera, ADAS, and multiple drive modes.
In addition, Mahindra has introduced new TEQ technology suites in the Sporteq variant. The company has added a total of six new TEQ-based technology features that focus on personalization, connectivity, and improving vehicle functions.
TEQ_Talk with Google Gemini

TEQ_Talk is an important addition to the Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq’s technology list. This feature includes Google Gemini integration, further enhancing the vehicle’s connected experience.
In addition, TEQ_Me serves as a driver recognition feature. It can automatically recognize the driver and load their personalized profile.
The TEQ_xting feature allows owners to display personalized messages on the rear tailgate display. Thus, Sporteq is not just a cosmetic upgrade, but also offers additional functionality at the software and connectivity levels.
TEQ_Drive and Revive SOS Feature
Mahindra has also added the TEQ_Drive technology suite to the Sporteq. This includes functions like custom drive mode, Tribe Drive, Drift Mode, and Acceleration Boost.
It also includes the Revive SOS feature, which can be very useful in emergency situations. According to Mahindra, even when the battery is completely zero percent, this feature can provide the SUV with up to 13 km of additional driving range to reach the nearest charging station.
According to the company, the Revive SOS feature can be used a maximum of five times during the vehicle’s battery life.
Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq Battery and Powertrain

No major mechanical changes have been made to the Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq powertrain. The SUV is offered with the same electric powertrain options as the existing BE 6.
It comes with a choice of 59kWh and 79kWh battery packs. Both battery options are paired with a rear-mounted electric motor. The motor outputs up to 286hp and 380Nm.
With the larger 79kWh battery pack, the claimed MIDC range is up to 682km. This means that despite the technology and interior updates in the Sporteq variant, Mahindra has kept the BE 6’s existing electric powertrain package largely unchanged.
Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq Range and Charging

A 79kWh battery pack for range provides the BE 6 Sporteq with a claimed MIDC range of up to 682km. A 59kWh battery pack is also part of the lineup, but the source does not mention its specific claimed range figure for this variant.
Charging options and performance figures have also remained unchanged compared to the standard BE 6. Mahindra has focused more on technology, cabin experience, and connected features with the Sporteq’s launch, rather than major upgrades in mechanical performance.
Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq: What’s New?
To understand the Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq, its focus is clear. Exterior changes are limited, but the cabin’s triple-screen dashboard, redesigned layout, fresh upholstery, and new software features distinguish it from the regular BE 6.
This variant also offers features like Google Gemini integration, driver personalization, tailgate messaging, and Revive SOS. The existing setup of 59kWh and 79kWh battery options and up to a 286hp electric motor continues.
Auto India Daily Verdict
The Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq could be an interesting option for buyers who want the BE 6’s existing electric performance along with a more premium cabin, advanced technology, and connected features.
The triple 12.3-inch screen setup, Google Gemini integration, and TEQ technology suite are the biggest highlights of this variant.
Mahindra has focused on the user experience and software features rather than upgrading the powertrain in the Sporteq. With a starting ex-showroom price of Rs 19.45 lakh, it provides a more tech-heavy flagship option to the BE 6 lineup.
If technology and a modern cabin experience are important to you along with performance in an electric SUV, the BE 6 Sporteq is a very interesting addition to the regular BE 6 range.
