Kia has revealed official images of the India-spec Sorento ahead of the launch, and production has already begun in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. This means that tomorrow’s event will not only showcase the global model, but will also reveal important pricing and variant details for the Indian market.

Kia Sorento India: Kia’s New Flagship SUV
The Sorento will be positioned as Kia’s new flagship ICE SUV in India. It will also be the brand’s first three-row ICE SUV and will also mark the beginning of Kia’s hybrid journey in India.
In terms of design, the Sorento’s overall look is quite upright and premium. At the front, Kia’s signature Tiger Nose grille is flanked by vertically positioned LED headlamps, while Y-shaped DRLs give the SUV a distinctive appearance. Body proportions are also typical of a traditional three-row SUV, providing a strong road presence.
The rear profile features vertically oriented LED taillights, a large roof spoiler, and a sculpted bumper design. The overall styling is familiar to the global Sorento, but the India-spec model will be offered with specific equipment and powertrain combinations based on market requirements.
Hybrid and Diesel, Both Engine Options
The most interesting aspect of the Kia Sorento India is its powertrain lineup. The SUV will be launched in India with strong-hybrid and diesel engine options.
