Skoda Octavia RS Second Batch Price and Availability
The new Octavia RS is priced at Rs. 56.69 lakh ex-showroom. This model will be available in India in limited numbers, and this time allocation has been restricted to just 50 units.
Given the strong demand for the first batch, the second batch is also likely to sell out quickly due to limited availability. However, the actual booking closure timeline will depend on customer demand.
Buyers in the second batch will get Mamba Green, Velvet Red, and Magic Black color options.
265hp 2.0-Litre Turbo-Petrol Engine

The biggest attraction of the Skoda Octavia RS is its performance-focused powertrain. The sedan is powered by the Volkswagen Group’s 2.0-liter EA888 four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine.
This engine produces 265hp and 370Nm. A 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox is standard for sending power to the front wheels.
According to Skoda’s claimed figures, the Octavia RS can complete the 0-100kph sprint in just 6.4 seconds. Its top speed is electronically limited to 250kph.
Performance isn’t just limited to the powerful engine. The Octavia RS also features progressive steering, sports suspension, a performance-focused chassis setup, and a sports exhaust system as standard equipment.
This combination gives the RS version a significantly more performance-oriented character than the regular Octavia.
Skoda Octavia RS Second Batch: Sporty Exterior Design
The Octavia RS features several RS-specific exterior elements to visually differentiate it from the standard Octavia.
The front features Matrix LED headlights, while the rear features LED taillights and dynamic indicators. The exterior makes extensive use of glossy black elements, giving the sedan a more aggressive appearance.
19-inch alloy wheels are also available with RS-specific styling. The rear section also features a more performance-focused look through black-finished elements and sportier detailing.
The overall design retains the Octavia’s familiar liftback silhouette, but the RS treatment gives it a considerably sportier appearance.
Skoda Octavia RS Second Batch: 600-Liter Boot Space
Despite being a performance sedan, the Octavia RS doesn’t compromise on practicality.
It offers 600 liters of boot space, which can be expanded to 1,555 liters with the rear seats folded.
In terms of car dimensions, the Octavia RS is 4,709 mm long, 1,829 mm wide, and 1,457 mm tall. It has a wheelbase of 2,677 mm.
The liftback tailgate setup also improves everyday usability, especially for buyers who want practical luggage space along with performance.

Premium and Sporty Interior

In the cabin, the Octavia RS features performance-oriented styling and premium equipment.

A 10.25-inch digital instrument display faces the driver, while a 13-inch touchscreen is available for infotainment. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are also supported.
Other cabin highlights include three-zone climate control, wireless charging, and an 11-speaker Canton sound system with subwoofer.
An electrically operated trunk is also part of the standard equipment list.
10 Airbags and ADAS Features

The Octavia RS is also well-equipped on the safety front.
The sedan is equipped with 10 airbags. The Driver Assistance package includes features like adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, and lane assist.
In addition, Intelligent Park Assist, a 360-degree Area View camera, and a head-up display are also available.
This means the Octavia RS is not only a performance-focused sedan, but also offers a premium package on the daily usability and safety technology front.
Skoda Octavia RS Second Batch Will Cost Rs. 6.70 Lakh More Than First Batch
The pricing of the second batch of the Octavia RS is quite noticeable. The first batch was launched at ₹49.99 lakh, while the second batch is priced at Rs. 56.69 lakh.
This means the new batch is Rs. 6.70 lakh more expensive.
Despite the price increase, Skoda has limited the allocation to 50 units. The first batch of 100 units sold out before launch, so the availability of the second batch will be particularly important for performance-car buyers.
Skoda Octavia RS: Who Is It For?

The Octavia RS is for buyers who want the practicality of a high-performance petrol sedan rather than a traditional luxury sedan.
The 265hp engine, 6.4-second 0-100kph acceleration, and 250kph limited top speed make it a genuinely quick car. Additionally, the 600-liter boot, comfortable premium cabin, and extensive safety technology make it suitable for everyday use.
The limited 50-unit allocation makes this car even more exclusive.
