Kinetic has updated its popular DX range of electric scooters, launching the Kinetic DX+ 3.1 kWh in India. This new variant is priced at Rs. 127,650, ex-showroom.
The standard Kinetic DX 3 kWh is priced at Rs. 118,599, ex-showroom.

The biggest upgrade in DX+ is the battery pack. This electric scooter has a 3.1 kWh LFP battery, which offers up to 132 km IDC range on a single charge. According to Kinetic, the scooter can get around 105-110 km range in real-world conditions.

Kinetic DX+ 3.1 kWh: Battery and Motor
The Kinetic DX+ gets a hub-mounted BLDC motor with a 3.1 kWh LFP battery pack. The peak power output of the motor is 3.8 kW. The scooter has been given two riding modes named Range and Power, through which the rider can prioritize the performance or efficiency according to his requirement.
K-Coast Tech is also provided in the scooter, which helps in energy regeneration during deceleration. Talking about charging, it takes around 3 hours to charge the battery from 0 to 80 percent. Retractable charging cable is also part of standard equipment in DX+.
132 km Range and 37-Litre Storage
The company has positioned Kinetic DX+ as a practical daily-use electric scooter. It also gets 37-litre underseat storage, which can be quite useful for daily commuting.
Features like Park Assist with Reverse, telematics and IP67 water and dust resistance are also provided in the scooter. Easy Flip one-touch pillion footrest is also part of the equipment list.

All-Metal Body and 12-Inch Wheels
The DX+ continues the Kinetic DX nameplate’s traditional all-metal body construction. The scooter features 12-inch tubeless tires at both the front and rear ends.
Braking setup includes a 220 mm disc brake at the front and a 130 mm drum brake at the rear. Ground clearance is 165 mm, while the wheelbase measures 1,315 mm. Seat length is 714 mm.
Kinetic DX+ Colors and Price
The Kinetic DX+ 3.1 kWh is offered in Black, Silver, Blue, White, and Red color options. The standard DX 3 kWh is available in the comparatively limited Black and Silver shades.
Pricing wise, the standard DX 3 kWh is priced at Rs. 1,18,599 ex-showroom, while the upgraded DX+ 3.1 kWh is priced at Rs. 1,27,650. The price difference between the two variants is Rs. 9,051.
Kinetic DX+ Gets Festive Benefits
Kinetic has also announced festive benefits for the DX range. The standard DX 3 kWh is getting a Rs. 2,000 benefit, while the DX+ 3.1 kWh is getting a Rs. 3,000 benefit.
DX+ buyers will also get an extended warranty of Rs. 8,999, Rs. 5,000 Amazon cashback, and Rs. Additional incentives like the Rs. 5,000 PM E-Drive benefit may also be available. The exact eligibility and terms of these offers may depend on the variant and purchase conditions.

The Kinetic DX+ 3.1 kWh clearly focuses on range, practicality, and everyday usability. Features like a claimed IDC range of 132 km, a claimed real-world range of 105-110 km, 37-liter storage, and reverse assist make it an interesting package for daily urban commuting.
The DX+ is priced higher than the standard DX due to its extra battery capacity, but given the additional range and equipment, this variant could target buyers who want to use the electric scooter for regular long-distance city commuting.
