The Honda UC3 features a cruiser-inspired design, slightly different from a conventional scooter. This model is available in overseas markets like Thailand and Vietnam and is interesting for its practical under-seat storage, LFP battery technology, and strong performance figures.
But one thing is clear—the Honda UC3’s patent in India is not a confirmation of its launch. Honda may also file it simply to protect its intellectual property rights.

Honda UC3 Gets LFP Battery Technology

The most interesting aspect of the Honda UC3 is its LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery pack. Honda’s existing electric scooters, such as the QC1 and Activa e, use NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt) battery chemistry, while the UC3 introduces LFP battery technology to overseas markets.
Honda claims the UC3 can offer up to 122 km of range on a full charge. Charging options for the scooter are offered with 450W and 1200W chargers.
A 450W charger takes around 5 hours to charge the battery from 20-80 percent, while a 1200W charger reduces this time to approximately 2 hours.
120 km/h Top Speed with 6 kW Motor
Even in terms of performance, the UC3 isn’t like a typical urban electric scooter. Its electric motor produces 6 kW of peak power, and the scooter has a claimed top speed of 120 km/h.
This performance makes the UC3 a relatively capable electric scooter for highways and long-distance riding.
The scooter offers three riding modes: Standard, Sport, and Economy. A reverse mode is also included, which can be useful when maneuvering the heavy scooter in parking or tight spaces.
Cruiser-Inspired Design with 26-Liter Storage
Design is another major highlight of the Honda UC3. The scooter features cruiser-esque styling with flowing body panels and relatively stretched proportions.
Practicality hasn’t been overlooked either. A 26-liter storage capacity is available under the seat, which can provide useful space for daily commuting.
The UC3 features 12-inch wheels on both ends. The scooter’s kerb weight is 129 kg, while the seat height is 779 mm.

The Honda UC3 features a 5-inch TFT instrument display. Riding modes and the reverse function can be configured through this interface.
