What’s so special about Rs. 1.01 lakh?
Hero has introduced the Glamour X ABS as a more safety-focused version of the existing Glamour X. The bike’s overall design and mechanical package are largely familiar, but the addition of ABS is the biggest highlight of this update.
The new variant is offered in two new color options—Gun Metal Grey and Matt Axis Grey—in addition to the existing Black Pearl Red and Black Teal Blue shades.
The Glamour X was first launched in August 2025, with a starting price of ₹89,999.
IBS with ABS in a 125cc Bike

The biggest talking point of the Hero Glamour X ABS is its braking setup.
According to Hero, the motorcycle combines a single-channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with an Integrated Braking System (IBS). Its objective is to reduce the risk of wheel lock-up during hard braking and provide the rider with better braking confidence.
The bike also features a Panic Brake Alert. During emergency braking, the system activates fast-flashing LED indicators, signaling the need for sudden braking to oncoming traffic.
This feature combination gives the Glamour X a distinct positioning from standard 125cc commuter motorcycles.
Cruise Control and 3 Ride Modes are also available
In addition to safety upgrades, the Hero Glamour X ABS also attracts attention due to its technology package.
The motorcycle offers three riding modes: Eco, Road, and Power. Ride-by-Wire throttle and cruise control are also available.
These technology features have already been segment-leading elements in Hero’s existing Glamour X. According to the company’s official specifications, the bike is powered by a 124.7cc engine and produces 11.4bhp.
For daily usability, the bike also features dual under-seat mobile storage and a USB Type-C charging port.

4.2-Inch Digital TFT With 60+ Functions
The cockpit of the Hero Glamour X ABS also strives to provide a more premium feel than a typical commuter motorcycle.
The bike features a 4.2-inch multi-color digital TFT display with over 60 functions available. Riders can view information such as Gear Shift Advisory, Distance-to-Empty, and a Real-Time Mileage Indicator on this screen.
A smartphone can be paired with the instrument cluster via Bluetooth connectivity. Connected features such as turn-by-turn navigation with ETA, call notifications, and SMS alerts can then be accessed.
Hero positions its current Glamour X with an adaptive display, Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, and over 60 features.
Muscular Design Continues

On the design front, Hero has continued the familiar muscular styling theme of the Glamour X.
The motorcycle features sharp body panels, a sculpted fuel tank, sporty graphics, and Hero’s signature ‘H’ design treatment. Full-LED lighting gives the bike a modern look, while the wider handlebar and long, flat seat are designed to improve rider comfort.
Seat height is 790mm, providing a relatively accessible setup for everyday city riding.
Hero Glamour X ABS: 124.7cc Engine Produces 11.4bhp
Power is continued from the same 124.7cc single-cylinder, air-cooled petrol engine as the Glamour X ABS.
The engine produces a maximum power of 11.4bhp at 8,250rpm and a peak torque of 10.5Nm at 6,500rpm. It is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
Hero’s official Glamour X specifications also confirm 124.7cc displacement, 8.5kW output, and 10.5Nm torque.
The motorcycle features a 10-liter fuel tank, while 18-inch alloy wheels are shod with 80/100-section front and 100/80-section rear tires.

Auto India Daily Verdict
The biggest advantage of the Hero Glamour X ABS isn’t just the ABS. At a price point of Rs 1.01 lakh, this motorcycle offers an unusual combination—single-channel ABS, cruise control, ride modes, Ride-by-Wire throttle, TFT display, and Bluetooth connectivity.
This package is genuinely interesting for 125cc commuter buyers, especially those riders who want a little more technology and safety than a typical mileage-focused motorcycle.
Hero had already positioned the Glamour X as a feature-heavy 125cc motorcycle. Now, with the addition of ABS, its safety angle has also been significantly strengthened.
