Talking about price, the Tata Aeris has the lowest starting price in this comparison. The Aeris’ introductory ex-showroom price starts at Rs. 5.29 lakh, and the petrol MT range goes up to Rs. 8.19 lakh. The iCNG MT range is priced from Rs. 6.29 lakh to Rs. 9.19 lakh. Pricing for selected AMT variants at launch is currently TBA.

According to Maruti Suzuki’s official website, the Dzire starts at Rs. 630,600. The Hyundai Aura’s official website starts at Rs. 599,990, while the new-generation Honda Amaze’s September 2026 starting price is Rs. 7.65 lakh.
So, based on entry price alone, the Aeris and Aura are lower-priced options, while the Amaze has a higher starting price.
Tata Aeris vs Dzire: What’s the difference between engine & CNG?
The Tata Aeris is powered by a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine. The petrol engine produces 86 PS and 113 Nm. It is paired with a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearbox options.
The Aeris iCNG uses the same 1.2-liter naturally aspirated setup, producing 76 PS and 97 Nm on CNG. The CNG version also comes with 5-speed manual and AMT options.
The Maruti Dzire is powered by a new 1.2-litre Z-Series petrol engine. According to official specifications, the petrol version produces 81.58 PS and 111.7 Nm, while the S-CNG version delivers 69.75 PS and 101.8 Nm.
The Dzire is offered with both 5-speed manual and AMT options. Interestingly, the Dzire CNG-AMT has also been introduced in 2026, with prices starting at Rs. 8.53 lakh for the VXi CNG AGS.

The Hyundai Aura’s 1.2-liter petrol engine produces 83 PS and 113.8 Nm, while the CNG version produces 69 PS and 95.2 Nm.
