Honda Cars India is set to launch the New Honda Elevate Facelift in India tomorrow, October 6, 2026. The updated midsize SUV will receive its first major update since the Elevate was introduced in India in 2023.
With Honda focusing on a refreshed design, a more premium cabin and additional features rather than major mechanical changes. India will also be the first market globally to receive the updated Elevate.

Honda has already opened pre-launch bookings for the updated SUV across its authorised dealerships in India. Customers can book the new Elevate by paying a token amount of Rs. 21,000.
The company has also released multiple teasers ahead of tomorrow’s launch, giving us a fairly clear idea of some of the changes coming to the SUV.

New Honda Elevate Facelift Gets a New Front Design
The biggest visual update on the New Honda Elevate Facelift will be at the front. Honda’s latest teaser shows a revised grille design with a new horizontal, segmented LED lighting signature integrated into the upper section of the nose.

The Honda logo also appears to have been repositioned higher, on the bonnet area, giving the SUV a noticeably different front-end appearance compared with the current model. The overall silhouette of the Elevate, however, is expected to remain familiar rather than receiving a complete redesign.
Honda has also previewed changes at the rear. Earlier teaser material showed a connected-style LED lighting treatment, while reports indicate that the facelift could also feature a revised rear bumper and updated alloy wheel design. These changes are intended to give the Elevate a more contemporary look without fundamentally altering its proportions.
More Premium Cabin Expected
The cabin of the New Honda Elevate Facelift is also expected to receive a visual makeover. Honda has teased a lighter interior theme, moving away from the darker/tan treatment seen on the current SUV.
Ambient lighting is another addition that has been highlighted in reports ahead of the launch. The aim appears to be to make the cabin feel more premium, particularly as the Elevate faces increasingly feature-rich rivals in India’s midsize SUV segment.
The current Elevate already gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with features such as a wireless charger, connected-car technology and camera-based ADAS. These features are expected to continue on the facelifted model, although Honda will reveal the final variant-wise equipment list tomorrow.

360-Degree Camera Is the Key New Feature
One of the most important technology upgrades visible in the latest teaser is a 360-degree camera. This would be a useful addition to the Elevate, particularly for city driving and tight parking spaces.
Honda has not yet released the complete variant-wise feature list, so it is too early to say which variants will get the 360-degree camera as standard. However, its presence in the teaser strongly indicates that the system will be part of the new Elevate’s equipment package.
Ventilated front seats have also been widely reported as an expected addition. Honda could bring them into the factory-fitted equipment list, but the company has not yet officially confirmed their availability or the variants on which they will be offered.
Similarly, features such as a panoramic sunroof and dual-zone automatic climate control have been reported as possibilities, but these should not be treated as confirmed until Honda announces the official specifications.
Engine and Gearbox Likely to Remain Unchanged

The New Honda Elevate Facelift is not expected to receive major mechanical changes. Current reports indicate that Honda will continue with the existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine.
The current engine produces 121hp and 145Nm and is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic transmission. Reports ahead of the launch indicate that these powertrain options are expected to carry over to the facelift.
This means the 2026 update is primarily about design, equipment and cabin improvements rather than a new engine or hybrid powertrain. Honda is yet to officially announce the final technical specifications, so the exact variant-wise powertrain details will be confirmed at launch.
New Honda Elevate Faceliftt Price and Rivals
Honda has not announced the price of the New Honda Elevate Facelift yet. The company is expected to reveal the pricing and complete variant details at tomorrow’s launch event, so any specific price figure published before the launch should be treated as an estimate.
The updated SUV will continue competing in India’s midsize SUV segment against models such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushaq.
With additional features and a refreshed design, Honda will be looking to make the Elevate more competitive in a segment where buyers increasingly expect premium cabin equipment and advanced convenience features.
What to Expect From the New Honda Elevate Facelift Launch
The New Honda Elevate Facelift is shaping up as a feature and styling-focused update rather than a complete generational change. The new segmented LED lighting, revised front-end design, lighter cabin theme, ambient lighting and 360-degree camera are among the most notable updates revealed or indicated so far.
The most important details still pending are the official price, variant-wise features, exact availability of ventilated seats and other new equipment. Honda will confirm these tomorrow, October 6, when the updated Elevate officially makes its India debut.
For buyers considering a midsize SUV, the facelift could make the Elevate a more attractive proposition, particularly if Honda manages to add the expected features without a significant increase in pricing.
