13:00 — Mandalika MotoGP Sprint LIVE: Marc Marquez Wins as Jorge Martin Finishes Fourth

Marc Marquez has won the 2026 Indonesian MotoGP Sprint at Mandalika after a dramatic 13-lap race, with Ai Ogura finishing second and Fabio Di Giannantonio completing the podium. Marquez beat Ogura by 0.509 seconds, while Di Giannantonio crossed the line just 0.835 seconds behind the winner.

Jorge Martin had looked strong earlier in the Sprint but a late mistake dropped him to fourth, finishing 1.947 seconds behind Marquez. The victory also puts Marquez at the top of the MotoGP world championship standings, according to the live race coverage.

Jorge Martin is building a commanding advantage in the Mandalika MotoGP Sprint. On Lap 5 of 13, Martin leads Marc Marquez by 1.6 seconds, with Ai Ogura running third, followed by Fabio Di Giannantonio and Pedro Acosta.

Meanwhile, Trackhouse Aprilia team principal Davide Brivio has described Martin and Marquez’s Turn 1 moves as “too aggressive”, according to MotoGP reporter Jack Appleyard.

Drama strikes at the start of the Mandalika MotoGP Sprint! Raul Fernandez and Marco Bezzecchi, who started from the front row in first and second place respectively, are both out at Turn 1.
