Bajaj Auto has launched its popular streetfighter motorcycle Pulsar NS200 with new updates. The ex-showroom Delhi price of the 2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 has been kept at Rs. 1.60 lakh.
This time, instead of making only cosmetic changes in the motorcycle, the company has also worked on the electronics, rider aids and some mechanical components.

The biggest highlight of the 2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is its 5-inch TFT display, which replaces the old LCD unit. Along with this, features like bi-directional quickshifter, ride-by-wire throttle, ride modes and traction control have also been added to the motorcycle. The suspension and tires also receive updates, while the familiar 199.5cc liquid-cooled engine has been retained.
The updated model is priced ₹11,000 more than the previous USD fork variant. The question is whether this additional amount is worth paying for the new features.

2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS200: Price and Key Highlights

The 2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is priced at Rs. 1.60 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). In comparison, the previous USD fork variant is available for Rds. 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This means buyers will have to spend Rs. 11,000 more for the new model.
Major updates to the new model include a 5-inch TFT display, Google Maps mirroring, a bi-directional quickshifter, ride-by-wire throttle, ride modes, and traction control. Adjustable levers, a panic brake alert, a USB Type-C charging port, and a hazard switch are also included.
On the mechanical front, the front suspension has been updated, and the rear gets a radial tire. Engine output has also increased by 1 hp compared to its predecessor. The combination of these changes makes the NS200 more feature-rich than before, especially for riders who want sporty performance and modern electronics for daily riding.
5-Inch TFT Display with Google Maps Mirroring

The 2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 new 5-inch TFT display replaces the old LCD instrument cluster. For today’s motorcycle buyers, digital displays aren’t just a means of viewing speed and fuel-related information; features like smartphone connectivity and navigation are also becoming an important part of the riding experience.
The addition of Google Maps mirroring allows riders to view navigation information on the display through a compatible setup. This can increase convenience when traveling on unfamiliar routes.
Bajaj has also provided a USB Type-C charging port on the motorcycle, which can be used to charge compatible devices. Adjustable levers give riders the flexibility to adjust the control setup according to their preference.
However, the actual experience of the display and connectivity features will depend on the interface, smartphone compatibility, and navigation implementation. Nevertheless, the TFT display is a noticeable upgrade on the updated NS200 compared to the old LCD setup.

Quickshifter, Ride Modes, and Traction Control

The 2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 features a bi-directional quickshifter. This feature allows riders to upshift and downshift without operating the clutch lever, making gear changes convenient during sporty riding.
The motorcycle also introduces a ride-by-wire throttle. Electronic throttle control, instead of a traditional mechanical throttle connection, helps support features like ride modes. Bajaj has also added ride modes and traction control to the updated NS200.
The purpose of traction control is to help manage excessive rear wheel spin during acceleration. This feature can be useful on wet or slippery road surfaces, but the rider should control speed and throttle input according to road conditions.
Panic brake alert and hazard switch are also safety and visibility-related additions. However, the presence of these features should not be mistaken for advanced rider-assistance systems or crash-prevention technology.
Changes to the Front Suspension and Rear Tire

The 2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 features a 37mm USD front fork, replacing the previous 33mm unit. A radial tire has also been added to the rear wheel.
Changes to the front suspension and tire specifications may affect the motorcycle’s handling characteristics and road feedback. However, a final assessment of the actual improvements in ride comfort, cornering confidence, and braking performance can only be made after practical riding.
The motorcycle’s perimeter frame, box-section swingarm, and rear monoshock have been retained. This means that Bajaj has not completely replaced the NS200’s existing chassis layout, but has upgraded select hardware and electronics.
199.5cc Engine Now Produces 25.5hp
The 2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 features a 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This engine now produces 25.5hp, an increase of 1hp. Torque is 18.7Nm, and power delivery is handled by a 6-speed gearbox.

While the engine capacity and basic configuration remain familiar, the core character of the NS200 remains largely the same, but additional electronics can transform the riding experience. A quickshifter can make gear changes convenient, while ride modes and traction control provide riders with additional control options in different conditions.
The updated NS200 is available in three color options: Ebony Black Racing Red, Pearl Metallic White, and Nardo Grey. Nardo Grey is a new color option that gives the motorcycle a distinct visual identity.
2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 vs TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
The 2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 compares favorably with the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V in terms of price. According to sources, the Apache RTR 200 4V’s ex-showroom Delhi price range is between Rs. 1.48 lakh and Rs. 1.49 lakh.
In comparison, the updated NS200’s price of Rs. 1.60 lakh is slightly higher. However, Bajaj has included additions such as a TFT display, bi-directional quickshifter, ride-by-wire, ride modes, and traction control.
Buyers shouldn’t just look at engine output or feature count when making a decision. It’s also important to consider riding comfort, seat height, usability in city traffic, service experience, and on-road price within your budget. It’s unfair to declare a motorcycle as the outright winner without actual riding experience.
Auto India Daily Verdict
The most meaningful change in the 2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is its electronics package. Features such as a TFT display, Google Maps mirroring, quickshifter, ride modes, and traction control make the motorcycle more modern than before. The 37mm USD fork and rear radial tyre are hardware updates, while the 1hp increase in engine output is relatively modest.
The additional price of Rs. 11,000 may be justified for riders who want modern rider aids and connectivity features. But if your focus is primarily on affordable performance and a basic riding experience, you should also consider the pricing of the earlier USD fork variant, if it is available in your market.
Final verdict: The appeal of the 2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 lies in its new electronics and rider-focused features. It’s best to understand the display, quickshifter and ride modes, take a test ride and compare the final on-road price at the dealership before making a purchase decision.
