Pulsar 150 Built on a Completely New Platform
The biggest change seen in the leaked motorcycle is its single-downtube chassis. Bajaj has replaced the old platform with a new architecture, which is quite similar to the recently leaked new Pulsar 125. This new frame is likely intended to make the motorcycle more stable and improve handling.
The rear features a preload-adjustable monoshock suspension for the first time, replacing the previous twin-shock setup. This update is expected to improve city rides as well as highway stability.
The engine has received the biggest mechanical upgrade
The most interesting update to the All-new Bajaj Pulsar 1500 is its engine. The existing model only offered an air-cooled engine, but the new version will feature both air- and oil-cooled engines.
Oil cooling allows the engine to deliver better performance and a refined riding experience even at high temperatures.
The company has not yet shared official power figures. For reference, the current Pulsar 150’s 149.5cc single-cylinder engine produces 14 hp and 13.3 Nm of torque. The new cooling system could bring slight improvements in performance and refinement.
