KTM India has increased the prices of its made-in-India Duke and RC motorcycle range by another notch. Following this latest KTM Duke & RC price hike, the company’s entry-level performance bikes have become costlier by Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 15,000.

The KTM RC 160 has been hit the hardest, while the prices of the 160 Duke, 160 Duke TFT, 200 Duke, 250 Duke and RC 390 have also been revised. Only the RC 200 remains unchanged.
It’s worth noting that the company has only updated the prices, while there haven’t been any mechanical updates to the motorcycles’ engines, performance, features, or hardware.
So, if you’re planning to buy a KTM Duke or RC series bike in the coming days, it’s best to plan your budget based on the new ex-showroom prices.

RC 160 gets the biggest price hike
The KTM RC 160 has become the most expensive in the latest price revision. The price of this motorcycle has increased by a straight Rs. 15,000.
Previously available for Rs. 1.85 lakh, its ex-showroom price has now increased to Rs. 2.00 lakh. Despite this, there have been no mechanical updates to the bike’s engine, hardware, or features.

Prices increased from 160 Duke to 250 Duke
The company has also revised prices across the Duke lineup. The standard 160 Duke will now be available for Rs. 1.84 lakh, up Rs. 10,000 from the previous price. The 160 Duke TFT variant has received a price hike of Rs. 5,000, now priced at Rs. 1.91 lakh.
In addition, the prices of both the 200 Duke and 250 Duke motorcycles have been increased by Rs. 6,000. The ex-showroom price of the 200 Duke is now Rs. 2.06 lakh, and that of the 250 Duke is Rs. 2.27 lakh.
RC 390 also gets more expensive, RC 200 price unchanged
The RC 390, a popular choice for performance bike buyers, has also become more expensive. This model has received a price hike of Rs. 10,000, and now has an ex-showroom price of Rs. 3.33 lakh.
On the other hand, the price of the RC 200 has remained unchanged this time around and will remain available at the same price of Rs. 2.32 lakh (approximately Rs. 2.32 lakh).

What is the reason for the price hike?
KTM has not provided an official reason, but based on industry trends, this price revision is believed to be due to rising raw material costs, manufacturing expenses, and input costs. Previously, the company also revised the prices of its 390 Duke and 390 Adventure range.
