The new TVS RTR 125 LC has been developed keeping in mind the A1 license holders and beginner riders. But it would not be right to call it just an entry-level motorcycle, as it has features like liquid-cooled engine, 6-speed gearbox, USD front forks, dual-channel ABS and 5-inch TFT display. Its feature list makes it an interesting new offering in the European 125cc motorcycle segment.
At present, TVS has not revealed pricing and availability details for the RTR 125 LC. There is no official confirmation from the company regarding the motorcycle’s launch in India either.

TVS RTR 125 LC: New 125cc Liquid-Cooled Engine

The most important highlight of the TVS RTR 125 LC is its new 125cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. This powertrain generates a maximum power of 14.7 hp at 9,000 rpm and a peak torque of 12 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox, while a slip-and-assist clutch is also part of standard equipment.
The combination of liquid-cooling and a 6-speed transmission gives the motorcycle a performance-focused character in this segment. Built for the A1 license category, TVS has attempted to provide a sporty mechanical package with a beginner-friendly positioning.
The motorcycle has been developed on a new tubular trellis frame, while the rear features a cast swingarm. Suspension duties are handled by KYB, which includes 41mm USD forks at the front and a monoshock setup at the rear.
TVS RTR 125 LC Braking, Tires, and Hardware

The TVS RTR 125 LC features a 100/80-17 tire at the front and a 140/70 R17 tire at the rear. The braking setup uses ByBre components, including a 300mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc. Dual-channel ABS is standard for safety.
Its hardware package sets it apart from a conventional commuter motorcycle. Features like USD forks, a wider rear tire, and dual-channel ABS make it a relatively premium proposition in the entry-level 125cc category.
5-Inch TFT Display and Connected Technology

TVS has also equipped the RTR 125 LC well in terms of technology. The motorcycle features a 5-inch TFT instrument display with full-screen map mirroring support. Ride modes, Bluetooth, and smartphone connectivity are also standard features.
These features may appeal particularly to young riders, who expect connected technology in addition to performance in a motorcycle. TVS has not yet shared the exact configurations of the ride modes or full details of the connectivity functions.

TVS Orbiter, X, and M1S Electric Scooters Also Unveiled

In addition to the RTR 125 LC, TVS also showcased three electric scooters for the European market at EICMA 2026. Of these, the Orbiter and X are already available in the Indian market, while the M1S is not yet offered in India.
The European-spec TVS X has one noticeable hardware change. The European model now features 14-inch wheels instead of the 12-inch wheels found on the Indian version. The Orbiter remains unchanged in terms of sourcing.

The M1S is a new addition to the lineup. It features a 4.2kWh battery pack that powers an electric motor that generates 12.5kW of peak power. According to TVS, its WMTC-certified range is 120km. This scooter is not yet available in India.
Will the TVS RTR 125 LC launch in India?
The India launch of the TVS RTR 125 LC is currently unconfirmed. The company has not yet shared any announcements or launch timelines for the Indian market. There is no confirmation of an India launch for the M1S electric scooter either.

If TVS brings the RTR 125 LC to India, its premium hardware and technology package could position it differently from standard 125cc commuter motorcycles. However, its pricing could be significantly higher than conventional 125cc motorcycles, owing to its liquid-cooled engine, USD forks, TFT display, and advanced braking hardware. This is a possibility, not a confirmed pricing.
TVS has stated that pricing and availability details for all four products will be announced closer to launch. So, the European launch timeline and India-specific plans will still have to wait for official confirmation.
Auto India Daily Verdict
The TVS RTR 125 LC is one of the interesting unveilings at EICMA 2026. Its 14.7 hp liquid-cooled engine, 6-speed gearbox, USD forks, dual-channel ABS, and TFT display make it a feature-rich beginner motorcycle. Targeting the European A1 license category, this bike shows that TVS is also focusing on premium entry-level motorcycles in its international portfolio.
The biggest question for Indian buyers will be its potential launch and pricing. An India launch is currently unconfirmed, but if TVS introduces it in the domestic market, it could be an interesting addition to the brand’s 125cc motorcycle portfolio.
