Bajaj Auto may be developing multiple Bajaj Adventure Bikes alongside its first adventure motorcycle. Recent comments from the company’s Brazil operations have highlighted the possibility that its upcoming ADV line-up could extend beyond a single model.
The first bike is expected to arrive before the end of 2026, but the company has not yet revealed its complete ADV line-up.

Waldyr Ferreira, Executive Director of Bajaj Brazil, has hinted at multiple offerings in the trail motorcycle segment. This supports reports that Bajaj may target different engine capacities and rider requirements in the adventure touring category. However, Ferreira’s comments do not confirm any specific engine size, model name, or launch timeline.

Bajaj 250cc Adventure Bike: What to Expect?
Most of the speculation surrounding upcoming Bajaj Adventure Bikes is in the 250cc segment. Previous reports regarding a prototype bike spotted testing in India suggested it could feature an engine derived from the Pulsar N250.

The current Pulsar N250’s engine produces 24.5 PS of power and 21.5 Nm of torque. If Bajaj adapts this engine platform for an adventure motorcycle, the bike could target road riding as well as occasional trail use. However, engine sharing, final output, and mechanical specifications are not yet confirmed.
The 250cc ADV segment could be a significant opportunity for Bajaj. Riders in this category need flexibility for daily commuting, weekend touring, and riding on rough roads. The bike’s final positioning will depend on its weight, suspension travel, ground clearance, gearing, and pricing.
Could Bajaj also launch a small 150cc–160cc ADV?
Another angle to Bajaj’s possible adventure lineup is a smaller-capacity motorcycle. An ADV or trail-focused bike in the 150cc to 160cc segment could be suitable for riders who prioritize affordability, manageable performance, and everyday usability.
Trail motorcycles like the Honda NXR Bros 160 and Yamaha Crosser 150 are already popular in Brazil. In such a market, Bajaj could expand its presence with a relatively accessible adventure-style motorcycle. In India, the concept of a lightweight motorcycle could appeal to riders seeking a practical option for occasional touring and uneven roads.
At present, Bajaj has not confirmed a 150cc or 160cc adventure bike. This is a possibility, not a confirmed product plan, given Ferreira’s comments about multiple offerings and relevant market segments.
Larger ADVs could also allow Bajaj to enter the premium segment
If Bajaj develops adventure motorcycles in multiple engine capacities, the company could target different budgets and riding needs. In Brazil, models like the Yamaha Lander 250 and Honda Sahara 300 provide relevant competition in the larger trail motorcycle category.
Bajaj’s potential larger-capacity model could target riders looking to upgrade from smaller commuter-oriented bikes. However, it’s not yet clear whether the company is working on a combination of 150cc and 250cc models, or whether its strategy will be something else.
A multi-model approach could allow Bajaj to reach a wider audience, from entry-level trail riding to longer-distance touring. The success of this strategy will depend on product pricing, engine performance, comfort, and after-sales support.

Bajaj ADV Spy Shots: What’s in the Design?

Spy shots of the upcoming Bajaj Adventure Bikes during testing reveal a tall front beak, fork gaiters, wire-spoke wheels, and a long single-piece seat. A high-mounted exhaust was also seen on the bike, while the riding position appears to be upright.
The suspension setup includes telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock. A digital instrument cluster was also seen on the test bike, although the features of the final production model have not yet been confirmed.
Bajaj has also filed a trademark for the Trekker name, which could be used for a production motorcycle. However, a trademark filing does not in itself confirm a final product name. The company has not yet announced the official name, specifications, variants, or pricing.
Bajaj Adventure Bikes Launch Timeline: Expected Before the End of 2026
According to available information, Bajaj’s first adventure motorcycle could arrive before the end of 2026. Ferreira previously stated that prototypes were in Brazil, and he himself rode one. He described the bike as a potential Christmas gift for customers waiting for Bajaj’s on-road/off-road motorcycle.
Work on parts development and homologation has also been reported. However, official confirmation is awaited regarding the exact launch date, launch sequence for India and Brazil, and production specifications.
Auto India Daily Verdict
Bajaj’s upcoming adventure motorcycle will mark the company’s entry into a new category, but the possibility of multiple Bajaj Adventure Bikes makes the development particularly interesting. A smaller trail bike could focus on affordability and ease of use, while a 250cc or larger ADV could target touring and performance-oriented riders.
Bajaj has not yet confirmed multiple engine options, model names, or final launch plans. Therefore, 150cc–160cc and 250cc ADVs should be considered expected possibilities. If the company launches more than one model, its reach in the Indian adventure motorcycle market could expand. The final picture will only become clear after an official announcement.
