The VLF Strada is focused on buyers who want practical features along with a long claimed range in an electric scooter. According to the company, its top-spec variant offers an IDC range of up to 250km on a single charge. It will compete in the market with electric scooters like the Yamaha EC-06 and Suzuki E-Access.

VLF Strada Electric Scooter Price and Variants
| Variant | Battery Capacity | Claimed IDC Range | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| VLF Strada City | 2.16kWh | Up to 130km | Rs. 1.20 lakh |
| VLF Strada Max | 4.32kWh | Up to 250km | Rs. 1.55 lakh |
The difference in battery capacity between the two variants is significant. The City variant’s smaller battery may be suitable for daily city commuting, while the Max variant’s larger battery may appeal to riders who want to cover more distance between charges. Note that the claimed IDC range may be shorter depending on real-world traffic, riding style, load, and road conditions.
Motor, Performance, and Riding Modes

The VLF Strada Electric Scooter features a BLDC hub motor that produces 4.8 kW of peak power and 34 Nm of peak torque. The scooter offers three riding modes, each with different speed limits.
| Riding Mode | Speed Limit |
|---|---|
| Eco | 45kmph |
| City | 65kmph |
| Sport | 85kmph |
Eco mode can be useful for lower-speed riding, while City and Sport modes offer comparatively higher speed limits. Actual range may be affected by the riding mode and acceleration used.
The scooter also features a swappable battery. This may provide flexibility with battery replacement or charging, but buyers should confirm battery-swapping support and availability in their area.
Charging Time: An Important Clarification

There are variations in available information regarding charging times for the VLF Strada Electric Scooter. According to one claim, the scooter can be charged in less than two hours with the specified charging configuration. However, the supplied charger specifications indicate a charging time of approximately six hours, and this applies to both battery options.
Therefore, buyers should confirm the final charging time, charger output, and fast-charging compatibility with the manufacturer or dealer. Along with battery capacity, the charging setup also plays an important role in daily usability.

VLF Strada Electric Scooter Design and Features

In terms of design, the VLF Strada features distinctive front styling. It features dual-beam projector LED headlamps and integrated turn indicators. A tall transparent windscreen extending above the front cowl gives the scooter a distinctive look.
The side profile features a stepped two-piece seat, a raised tail section, and an integrated luggage rack. Its seat height is 780mm, so riders should check their height and comfort before purchasing.
In terms of features, the scooter comes with a 5-inch TFT display, keyless entry, an illuminated ignition, and USB Type-A and Type-C charging ports. These features can make everyday commuting convenient, especially for riders who use accessories for navigation or phone charging.
VLF Strada Electric Scooter Braking and Hardware
The VLF Strada features disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels, along with a Combined Braking System (CBS). The front features a 240mm disc with a three-piston caliper, while the rear features a 220mm disc with a two-piston caliper.
The scooter comes with a 16-inch front wheel and a 14-inch rear wheel. It’s useful to check details like wheel sizes, braking hardware, and seat height during a test ride, as handling in city traffic and low-speed maneuverability affect the ownership experience.
VLF Strada Electric Scooter Color Options
The VLF Strada will be available in four color options:
- Carbonio Black
- Urbano Silver
- Titanio Grey
- Luna White
Auto India Daily Verdict
The VLF Strada Electric Scooter biggest highlights are its 4.32kWh Max variant, up to 250km claimed IDC range, and feature-rich equipment list. Pricing starting at Rs. 1.20 lakh gives the City variant a lower entry point, while the Max variant is for buyers who prioritize a larger battery.
But before purchasing, do check three things: real-world range, actual charging time, and local availability of swappable batteries. The claimed range is not necessarily a daily-use range. If the VLF delivers a good experience on these practical ownership points, the Strada could become an interesting option in the electric scooter market.
