The 2026 Renault Triber Turbo is expected to feature a 1.0-liter, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine borrowed from the Kiger. This engine produces 99 bhp and 160 Nm of torque. This is the same turbo unit that powers the Renault Kiger.
The difference in torque output compared to the naturally aspirated Triber is quite significant. The existing NA engine produces 96 Nm of torque, while the turbo version will produce up to 160 Nm. This could benefit highway acceleration, overtaking, and full-load driving.
