Audi India is preparing to launch its next-generation Q3 in the Indian market. The new Audi Q3 India launch will take place on 16 October 2026.
The India-spec model was unveiled in August and is the first product from the brand’s latest-generation models to come to India.

The new Q3 will replace the current second-generation SUV, which has been on sale in India for nearly four years. This time, Audi will assemble the SUV locally, while significant changes will also be made to the design, cabin technology, and powertrain.
In terms of pricing, the new-generation model could be noticeably more expensive than the current Q3. According to reports, the new Audi Q3 could be priced around Rs 55 lakh to Rs 60 lakh (ex-showroom).

New Audi Q3 Gets a More Aggressive Design
The exterior of the new-generation Q3 is bolder and more contemporary than the current model.
The most noticeable change in the front profile is the split-headlamp setup. Instead of the traditional single-piece headlamp arrangement, Audi has placed configurable daytime running lights in the upper section and main lighting elements in the lower section.
The SUV’s side profile features elements like body-colored cladding, a chrome beltline, and black window treatment. 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels also enhance the overall premium appearance.
The rear section features details like split-style taillights, an illuminated Audi logo, and an integrated spoiler. The overall design makes the Q3 more distinctive than the previous-generation SUV.
The cabin is more tech-focused
The interior of the new Audi Q3 also comes with major upgrades.
The dashboard features a dual-screen setup, consisting of a digital driver’s display and a central infotainment screen. The cabin also features a four-spoke steering wheel and a steering column-mounted gear selector.
The feature list includes features such as:
- Sonos premium sound system
- Panoramic sunroof
- Wireless Apple CarPlay
- Wireless Android Auto
- Dual-zone climate control
- 360-degree camera
Through this technology-focused cabin, Audi aims to offer premium compact luxury SUV buyers a strong alternative to the BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA.
2.0-Liter Turbo-Petrol Engine Expected
As for the powertrain, the India-spec new Q3 will be launched with a 2.0-liter direct-injection turbo-petrol engine.
Audi has not yet confirmed the final output figures of the India-spec version, but expected specifications suggest the engine could produce around 204 hp and 320 Nm.
The engine will be paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system is expected to transfer power to all four wheels. According to reports, AWD could be standard fitment across the range.
The new Q3 is not expected to get a diesel engine option in India, meaning the SUV will be available with a petrol-only powertrain.

New Q3 Will Be More Expensive Than Current Model
The current-generation Audi Q3 is priced in India approximately between ₹43.67 lakh and ₹53 lakh (ex-showroom).
