BMW India has officially opened the booking window for the updated version of its flagship luxury sedan. The BMW 7 Series Facelift India can now be reserved for interested buyers ahead of its launch.

The company has confirmed that the updated model will be available in both ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) and all-electric BMW i7 versions in the Indian market.
The facelifted 7 Series made its global debut in April 2026, and this time around, the company has made significant upgrades not just to cosmetic changes but also to technology, luxury, and the driving experience.
BMW’s latest Neue Klasse innovations, AI-based driver assistance, and an upgraded electric drivetrain make it a more advanced luxury sedan than before.

BMW 7 Series Facelift India Bookings Officially Open
BMW India has opened pre-bookings for customers. Interested buyers can register their bookings through the nearest BMW dealership or the company’s official website.
The 7 Series has been BMW’s flagship luxury sedan since 1977, and with each generation, the brand has introduced new technologies. This time, the facelift model continues this tradition.
Its official launch in the Indian market is expected in the next few weeks.
The exterior will offer a more premium look
BMW has made the exterior styling sharper with the facelift. The company’s signature Illuminated BMW Kidney Iconic Glow grille is more prominent on the front fascia than before.
Slim crystal-effect LED headlamps and updated daytime running lights give the sedan a futuristic look.
The rear profile also features new LED lighting elements and a revised light signature. The overall silhouette remains familiar, but minor updates give the car a fresh look.
Customers will also find BMW Individual personalization options with the M Sport and M Sport Pro packages. Dual-tone paint schemes and 20-inch to 22-inch alloy wheels can be chosen.

BMW has completely modernized the dashboard layout. The cabin now features the company’s latest Panoramic iDrive interface, which runs on BMW Operating System X.

A dedicated display has also been added for front passengers, while the digital cockpit has been made more responsive and feature-rich.
The upgraded BMW Theatre Screen for rear seat passengers now supports 8K video streaming.

BMW i7 Gets a Claimed Range of More than 720 KM
The electric version of the BMW i7 has also received a significant update.
The company has introduced the latest 6th Generation BMW eDrive technology which uses new cylindrical battery cells.
According to BMW, the updated i7 can offer a WLTP-certified driving range of over 720 km on a single charge.
In addition, systems like intelligent charging management, adaptive energy recuperation and smart route planning make long-distance driving more efficient.

Given the new technology upgrades and premium features of the facelifted model, pricing may see a slight increase.
