It has been a few years since the Honda Elevate was launched in India, and now the company is preparing to update this midsize SUV with a facelift.
According to dealer sources, the India debut of the Honda Elevate facelift could happen in early October 2026. The updated SUV is expected to get some important feature upgrades along with exterior and interior styling, while the chances of major changes in the mechanical setup are low at the moment.

Honda introduced the Elevate in the Indian market in 2023. The facelift could be aimed at making the SUV more competitive in the segment, especially at a time when rivals like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Toyota Hyrider, and Maruti Grand Vitara are constantly adding new features.

Honda Elevate Facelift: What could change?
The exterior styling is expected to see changes first. The facelifted Elevate is expected to feature revised LED lighting elements, a redesigned grille, and updated bumpers. The SUV’s 17-inch alloy wheels could also receive a new design, giving the overall side profile a slightly fresher look.
These updates could focus on modernizing the styling while retaining the familiar boxy SUV character of the current Elevate, rather than creating a completely new design.
New Features May Be Found in the Cabin
Honda may also make some changes to the interior. The basic dashboard layout is likely to remain largely the same, but a new cabin theme and revised seat upholstery could give the cabin a fresh look.
The most interesting aspect is the feature list. The current Elevate lacks features like a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, and ventilated front seats, which are now common in higher variants of rivals.
The recently updated Honda City adds ventilated front seats and a factory-fitted 360-degree camera. Because of this, there’s a strong possibility that both of these features will also be included in the Elevate facelift. Currently, the 360-degree camera is available as a dealer-level accessory for the Elevate.
Honda may also introduce additional convenience features, but the exact feature list is expected to become clearer closer to launch.
No major engine changes expected
On the mechanical front, the existing 1.5-liter, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine is expected to continue in the Honda Elevate facelift. This engine produces 121 hp and 145 Nm and is available with a 6-speed manual and 7-step CVT automatic gearbox options.
Interest has also been generated regarding a hybrid powertrain. A 1.5-liter strong-hybrid setup is available in the Honda City, producing 126 hp combined power and 253 Nm torque. However, this powertrain is not yet offered in the Elevate.
With the growing demand for strong-hybrid SUVs in India, the possibility of introducing a hybrid option with the Elevate facelift would be interesting. However, Honda has not yet officially confirmed the Elevate hybrid, so this should be viewed as an expectation for now.

Honda Elevate Facelift Price
The pricing of the updated Honda Elevate could be slightly higher than the current model, especially if the company adds additional features to the standard or higher variants. The current Elevate’s ex-showroom price ranges from roughly Rs. 11.81 lakh to Rs. 16.36 lakh.
Exact variant-wise pricing after the facelift is expected to be revealed around the time of its October debut.
Rivals of the Honda Elevate Facelift
After the facelift, the Honda Elevate will compete with models like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Maruti Grand Vitara, Tata Sierra, and Maruti Victorias in India’s highly competitive midsize SUV segment.
In this segment, it’s not just engine and space that are important to buyers. Equipment like ADAS, 360-degree camera, ventilated seats, premium infotainment, and connected features are also becoming increasingly important in purchase decisions. The Elevate facelift’s feature additions could be significant for Honda in this area.
Auto India Daily Verdict
The Honda Elevate facelift is expected to focus primarily on styling and features rather than mechanical upgrades. A revised exterior, improved cabin experience, and features borrowed from the City could give the SUV a fresh push in the segment.
If Honda also introduces a hybrid powertrain, the Elevate facelift’s appeal could be further strengthened. But until the company officially confirms this, styling and feature updates should be considered the most likely changes, with an October 2026 debut expected.
