Benda Rock 707 Revealed Globally With 73 PS & Electronic Air Suspension

Chinese motorcycle manufacturer Benda has revealed the Benda Rock 707 Cruiser for the European market, bringing a 692cc V-twin engine together with electronically controlled rear air suspension and an electronic clutch.

The new cruiser is scheduled to reach European Benda dealers from mid-September 2026.

The Rock 707 stands out mainly because of its technology package. Its rear suspension can automatically adjust the motorcycle’s ride height, while the BEC electronic clutch allows the rider to pull away, change gears and come to a stop without operating the clutch lever. Manual clutch control is still available when required.

Benda Rock 707 Gets Electronic Air Suspension

The biggest talking point of the Benda Rock 707 is its dual-chamber adaptive air suspension at the rear. The electronically controlled system can respond to rider and passenger load as well as road conditions and automatically adjust the motorcycle’s ride height.

The seat height can be adjusted between 690mm and 720mm, with a nominal height of 705mm. The system can lower the motorcycle when the rider comes to a stop and raise it again once the bike gets moving. This should make the relatively large cruiser easier to handle during stops and slow-speed manoeuvring.

BENDA says the system can also adapt its height and firmness according to conditions. This gives the Rock 707 a technology-focused approach to suspension that is unusual in the mid-capacity cruiser segment.

Electronic Clutch Works Without the Lever

Another major feature is BENDA’s BEC electronic clutch. The system uses electronic control and mechanical actuation to manage clutch operation during take-offs, gear changes and stops.

The rider can therefore shift through the six-speed gearbox without repeatedly operating the clutch lever. However, a conventional clutch lever remains available, allowing the rider to switch back to manual operation whenever required.

The concept is broadly similar to Honda’s E-Clutch system, although BENDA uses its own BEC architecture with dual-motor redundancy.

692cc V-TwinProduces 73 PS

Powering the Rock 707 is a 692cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine. The European specification produces 54kW (73 PS) at 9,000rpm and 68Nm at 6,500rpm.

The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox and belt final drive. BENDA says the V-twin has been developed with a focus on low-end torque and responsive mid-range performance, which suits the character of a cruiser.

Cruiser Gets USD Fork, Disc Brakes and Traction Control

The Benda Rock 707 uses a steel tube frame with an aluminum swingarm. Up front, there is an upside-down fork, while the rear uses the electronically controlled dual-chamber air suspension.

Braking hardware includes a 320mm front disc with a four-piston radial caliper and a 260mm rear disc with a two-piston caliper. ABS and traction control are also part of the package.

The motorcycle also gets ride-by-wire throttle control, cruise control and USB as well as USB Type-C charging. A compact 3.6-inch TFT display with an 800-nit brightness rating handles instrumentation.

Benda Rock 707 Seat Height and Dimensions

Thanks to its electronically controlled air suspension, the Rock 707’s seat height can vary from 690mm to 720mm. Its wheelbase measures 1,550mm, while the European specification lists a 16-litre fuel tank.

The official European technical specification lists the motorcycle’s curb weight at 235kg, while BENDA’s French-market specification currently lists 226kg in running order, so the exact weight can vary by market/specification.

Four Colors for the European Market

BENDA will offer the Rock 707 in four color options in Europe:

  • Knight Black
  • Sandy Gray
  • Windy White
  • Armor Green

The motorcycle combines traditional cruiser proportions with a modern technology package, including the adaptive air suspension and electronic clutch.

Benda Rock 707 European Launch

The Benda Rock 707 is scheduled to become available through European BENDA dealers from mid-September 2026. The motorcycle will also be showcased at EICMA in Milan on November 3, 2026, as part of BENDA’s wider product lineup.

For India, there is currently no confirmed launch announcement for the Rock 707. Benda is part of the wider Qianjiang Group, which also has ownership links with brands such as Benelli and Keeway, but that does not confirm an Indian launch for the Rock 707.

Auto India Daily Verdict

The Benda Rock 707 brings two unusual technologies to the cruiser segment: electronically controlled rear air suspension and an electronic clutch. The adjustable 690–720mm seat height could be particularly useful during low-speed riding, while the BEC system adds convenience without completely removing manual clutch control.

With a 692cc V-twin, 73 PS, belt drive, cruise control and traction control, the Rock 707 combines conventional cruiser hardware with a noticeably technology-focused approach. India availability, however, remains unconfirmed.
