Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has launched its new electric scooter, the New Honda QC3, in the Indian market. Its starting price has been kept at Rs. 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Honda QC3 is specifically positioned as a family-oriented electric scooter. It comes with features like a 3kWh battery pack, a claimed 145km IDC range, 32-litre under-seat storage, and a connected 5-inch TFT instrument cluster. The company has kept its initial rollout in just five Indian cities, after which nationwide availability will be expanded in a phased manner.

New Honda QC3 Price and Availability
The Honda QC3 has an introductory ex-showroom Delhi price of Rs. 1.35 lakh. Honda has developed this scooter with local manufacturing in mind, keeping its pricing relatively competitive compared to the company’s earlier electric scooters.
In the initial phase of launch, the Honda QC3 will be available in Delhi, Agra, Cuttack, Surat, and Kollam. Customers in these cities can book the scooter through Honda’s website or the nearest RedWing dealership. The booking amount is Rs. 5,000. Honda will expand the nationwide rollout in a phased manner.

Charging the QC3 from 0 to 80 percent takes approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes, while a full charge takes around 4 hours. This setup is primarily designed for daily city commuting and family use.
Interestingly, the QC3’s battery is fixed, meaning it doesn’t have a removable battery system like the Activa e.
32-Liter Under-Seat Storage
Storage capacity is crucial for family scooter buyers, and Honda has focused on this area with the QC3.
The electric scooter features 32 liters of under-seat storage, making the QC3 a practical option in Honda’s current EV lineup. For comparison, the QC1 offers 26 liters of storage, while the Activa e’s under-seat space is quite limited due to its removable battery setup.
This means the QC3’s boot space could be useful for users carrying daily shopping, a helmet, and small luggage.
