The biggest highlight of the New-Gen Porsche 911 GT3 is its naturally aspirated engine. Porsche has retained the 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six boxer engine in this car, which produces 510 PS (502 bhp) and a maximum torque of 450 Nm. With the PDK gearbox, the car completes 0-100 kmph in just 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of 311 kmph.

Interestingly, Porsche India has already announced the pricing of the new 911 GT3. The car’s starting price is set at Rs. 3.32 crore (ex-showroom), and this figure could go up significantly with the addition of optional equipment.

This approach by Porsche was also seen in the case of the Cayenne Electric, where pricing was announced before its India arrival.

In India, the new GT3 will be offered with a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic gearbox as standard, according to the source. Globally, Porsche also offers the 911 GT3 with the option of a 6-speed manual gearbox. Official Porsche information also confirms both PDK and manual transmission options.

4.0-Liter Naturally Aspirated Flat-Six Engine

The engine of the New-Gen Porsche 911 GT3 is a major part of the car’s identity. The 4.0-litre naturally aspirated six-cylinder boxer engine revs up to 9,000 rpm and Porsche has made updates to this powertrain such as revised cylinder heads, sharper camshafts, optimised individual throttle valves and improved oil cooling.

According to Porsche’s official figures, the PDK-equipped GT3 reaches 100 kmph in 3.4 seconds, while the top speed is 311 kmph. The manual version completes the 0-100 kmph sprint in 3.9 seconds and has a top speed of 313 kmph.

Aerodynamic Design Gets Major Updates

In terms of looks, the New-Gen Porsche 911 GT3 retains the overall silhouette of the Carrera family, but its aerodynamic elements clearly distinguish it from standard 911 models. The front features a revised splitter, larger air intakes, and a vented bonnet.

The most noticeable element in the rear profile is its large rear wing. The GT3 features revised rear aerodynamics with a swan-neck-style wing design. Porsche has also made changes to the aerodynamic elements of the front axle and underbody fins, aimed at improving high-speed stability and downforce.

Nürburgring Lap Time Also a Highlight

An important indicator of the New-Gen Porsche 911 GT3 track-focused engineering is its Nürburgring performance. The standard-spec GT3 recorded a lap time of 6 minutes 55.34 seconds, highlighting the car’s track capability.

Porsche has also made improvements to the suspension setup. The focus is on reducing pitch movement during braking and making the car more stable on uneven surfaces through revised damper tuning and an anti-dive system.
