Maruti Suzuki is currently selling close to 56,000 SUVs per month, while its cleaner-fuel vehicle sales have grown 46%. The company also has 95,000 pending Brezza bookings and sold 25,000 Baleno units in its first month of sales since launch. Meanwhile, H1 FY27 export sales reached a record 2.3 lakh units, up 12%, with the company currently having around 2 lakh pending bookings.

18:30 — September 2026 Auto Sales LIVE: Maruti Suzuki Reports Record Sales and Market Share Gain
Maruti Suzuki recorded H1 FY27 sales growth of 35% to 11 lakh units, while gaining 220 basis points of market share. The company also posted its highest-ever quarterly domestic sales of 5.56 lakh units, up 38% YoY, surpassing the previous Q3 FY26 record. The quarter also marked the first period after the GST rate cuts.

Hero MotoCorp recorded motorcycle sales of 6.66 lakh units in September 2026, up 6.3% year-on-year. Scooter sales increased sharply by 64.5% to around 1 lakh units, while domestic sales rose 14% to 7.4 lakh units.
Exports, however, declined 31% to 27,330 units during September 2026.

Domestic CV sales increased 31.2% to 43,487 units, while HCV sales rose 44% to 14,171 units. International business stood at 7,575 units, compared with 2,714 units a year earlier.
