Triumph Motorcycles India has launched the updated 2026 Triumph Daytona 660 in India. The updated supersport motorcycle has a starting price of Rs. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom), an increase of Rs. 11,000 compared to the previous model.
Along with the price increase, Triumph has also made some important upgrades to the bike’s hardware and equipment package.

The overall design and core mechanical package of the 2026 Daytona 660 remain largely unchanged, but changes in areas such as the suspension setup, tyres and quickshifter differentiate it from the previous model. The bike is offered in three colour options in India.

Not a major change in the 660cc triple-cylinder engine
The 2026 Triumph Daytona 660 continues to feature the same 660cc inline three-cylinder engine. The India-spec motorcycle’s engine produces around 94 bhp and 68 Nm and is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
The company has positioned the Triumph Daytona 660 as a road-focused sports bike. Its three-cylinder engine delivers sporty performance with a strong mid-range, while the riding position is relatively practical compared to purely track-focused supersport motorcycles.
The engine hasn’t received major changes, so the 2026 model’s primary focus is on improving riding hardware and standard equipment rather than increasing performance numbers.
Front Suspension Now Fully Adjustable
The most significant mechanical upgrade on the 2026 Daytona 660 is its front suspension. The motorcycle features a 41mm Showa upside-down front fork, which now has compression and rebound adjustability. Suspension travel remains unchanged at 110mm.
The practical benefit of this upgrade is allowing riders to fine-tune the setup to suit their riding style and road conditions. The option to adjust front-end behavior during sporty riding can be particularly useful for experienced riders.
The motorcycle’s preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear continues, offering 130mm of suspension travel.
Bi-Directional Quickshifter Now Standard
Triumph has also made a significant upgrade to the 2026 Triumph Daytona 660 equipment package. The motorcycle now comes standard with a bi-directional quickshifter.
The quickshifter was available as an optional accessory on the outgoing Daytona 660. Now, it’s part of standard equipment, allowing riders to upshift and downshift without using the clutch.
This feature can help make gear changes faster and smoother in sporty riding, particularly during acceleration and corner exits.
Metzeler M9 RR Tires Replace Michelin
The tire setup on the 2026 Triumph Daytona 660 has also been updated. The company has replaced the outgoing model’s Michelin Power 6 tires with Metzeler M9 RR tires.
The Metzeler M9 RR is a performance-oriented road tire, developed with a focus on grip and rider feedback. Given the Daytona 660’s sporty character, a tire upgrade can make a noticeable difference to the bike’s handling package.

Three New Color Options
Triumph has introduced the 2026 Triumph Daytona 660 in three color combinations:
- Aluminum Silver with Sapphire Black highlights
- Cosmic Yellow with Sapphire Black highlights
- Sapphire Black
The design hasn’t undergone a major visual overhaul, so the overall silhouette of the updated model is similar to the previous Daytona 660.
2026 Triumph Daytona 660 Price in India
Triumph has priced the updated Daytona 660 in India at Rs. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This is Rs. 11,000 more than the outgoing model.
The current starting price of the Daytona 660 is also listed on Triumph’s official India website at Rs. 999,000.

Instead of upgrading the engine, the company has improved the riding hardware and standard equipment in the 2026 Triumph Daytona 660. The adjustable Showa front fork, standard bi-directional quickshifter, and Metzeler M9 RR tires are the main highlights of this update.
Given the upgrades that come in exchange for the Rs. 11,000 price increase, the updated Daytona 660 package is more focused on performance-oriented riders.
The engine and overall design remain largely unchanged, maintaining the character of the existing Daytona 660, but the suspension setup and standard quickshifter make the bike a more complete package.
