Aston Martin has officially unveiled the new Aston Martin DBX GT in its popular luxury SUV range. In contrast to the performance-focused character of the DBX S, the new DBX GT focuses more on comfort, refinement, and luxury.
But in terms of performance, this SUV is no less than a sports car. It is powered by the same 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 727PS and 900Nm.

According to Aston Martin, first deliveries of the DBX GT will begin in global markets from Q4 2026. The company has positioned this model as a more refined and understated interpretation in the DBX family. Its suspension, transmission, exhaust, and cabin insulation have been specifically tuned for comfort-oriented driving.

Aston Martin DBX GT Gets 727PS Twin-Turbo V8

Under the hood of the DBX GT is Aston Martin’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 petrol engine. This engine produces 727PS of maximum power and 900Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission, which sends power to all four wheels via an electronically controlled all-wheel-drive system.
Performance figures are also quite impressive. The DBX GT completes the 0-100 kmph sprint in 3.3 seconds, while the 0-60 mph time is 3.1 seconds. The SUV’s top speed is up to 310 kmph. Its braking setup features 420mm front and 390mm rear carbon-ceramic brakes.
Despite the GT badge, Aston Martin hasn’t compromised on performance. Instead, the company has made the powertrain’s response and chassis behavior smoother and more refined.
Aston Martin DBX GT Gets Comfort-Focused Suspension

To give the DBX GT a distinct character from the DBX S, Aston Martin has made several changes to the suspension setup. Damper calibration has been revised, while a new damper-valve system improves ride comfort on rough and uneven surfaces.
The company has also added two additional longitudinal dampers between the rear subframe and body. Their purpose is to better control body movement during large potholes, sharp crests, and heavy suspension movements. The transmission mount bush has also been revised, which helps reduce powertrain movement and vibrations.
The throttle pedal response and shift calibration of the 9-speed automatic gearbox in the DBX GT have also been smoothed. The objective is to provide more predictable and refined response from relaxed urban driving to highway cruising.

Aston Martin DBX GT Gets New Exterior Design

Several subtle changes have been made to distinguish the DBX GT from the DBX S on the front of the design. The front bumper has been given a body-colored finish, while horizontal slats have been used in place of a mesh pattern in the grille.
The side profile features satin-finished side elements and body-colored side sills. The SUV is offered with standard 22-inch Satin Titanium diamond-turned alloy wheels, while 23-inch wheels are optional. The standard wheels are also shod with Pirelli Scorpion Zero All-Season tires, which prioritize ride comfort.
The most noticeable change in the rear section is the horizontal quad-exhaust setup. Compared to the DBX S’s more aggressive stacked exhaust treatment, the GT’s exhaust design offers a cleaner and understated look.
Exhaust Sound Also Tuned for Luxury
Aston Martin has also specifically retuned the DBX GT’s exhaust system. According to the company, harsh metallic frequencies have been reduced by optimizing gas-flow mixing in the rear muffler, giving the exhaust note a cleaner and richer feel.
In GT driving mode, the exhaust can be kept relatively discreet, while the more aggressive V8 soundtrack is available in Sport and Sport+ modes.
This approach makes the DBX GT’s character clear—it aims to offer long-distance luxury and refinement without sacrificing SUV performance.
Aston Martin DBX GT Interior Gets More Luxury & Comfort

The cabin’s basic layout is based on the familiar DBX architecture, but Aston Martin has made several upgrades to improve comfort and a premium feel.
The seats use new leather upholstery with thicker memory-foam cushioning. Elements such as anodized metal detailing, premium trim materials, and deep-pile carpets have been added to the cabin. Buyers will also find multiple color combinations and upholstery choices.
Noise insulation has also received special attention. Additional sound-deadening material has been used in the door panels, front and rear wheel-arch areas, and rear load space. Acoustic laminated rear side glass also helps make the cabin quieter.
According to Aston Martin, these changes provide a 13% improvement in the cabin’s Articulation Index, with the objective of making it easier for occupants to conduct conversations and phone calls while in a moving vehicle.
Panoramic Glass Roof and Premium Audio

The Aston Martin DBX GT comes standard with a fixed panoramic glass roof. This increases natural light in the cabin and gives the interior a more spacious feel.
A Bowers & Wilkins audio system is also available for a premium audio experience. Combined with additional sound insulation, acoustic glass, and deep-pile carpeting, the DBX GT has been developed to embody the character of a long-distance luxury SUV.
Aston Martin DBX GT vs DBX S
The biggest difference between the Aston Martin DBX GT and DBX S is not power output, but driving character. Both models share a 727PS and 900Nm V8 powertrain, but the GT has been tuned for comfort and refinement.

Aston Martin’s current DBX portfolio includes the DBX GT, DBX S, and DBX707, three distinct expressions. The company positions the GT at the luxury and refinement-focused end of the SUV portfolio, while the DBX S offers a performance-oriented character.
Aston Martin DBX GT India Launch
Aston Martin has not yet announced an India launch date or India-specific pricing. The company has confirmed that first deliveries of the DBX GT in global markets will begin in Q4 2026.
Aston Martin’s SUV portfolio already has a presence in India, but official confirmation regarding the local launch of the DBX GT will still be awaited. If this model comes to India, it will be positioned for high-end luxury SUV buyers, where cabin comfort and refinement are major priorities along with performance.
Auto India Daily Verdict
The Aston Martin DBX GT formula is simple—the DBX S’s powerful 727PS V8 package, but with a more relaxed suspension, quieter cabin, softer responses, and premium luxury treatment. The biggest highlight of this SUV is that Aston Martin hasn’t sacrificed performance for comfort.
With 727PS, 900Nm, and a 310kmph top speed, the Aston Martin DBX GT is clearly a high-performance SUV, but its real focus is on everyday usability, long-distance comfort, and an ultra-luxury experience. It will bring a distinctly different character to the DBX family once global deliveries begin from Q4 2026.
