The facelift brings noticeable changes to the front fascia, including redesigned bumpers, an updated grille with a mesh-style pattern and Satin Silver accents. The Toyota logo is positioned on the leading edge of the bonnet, while the overall design gets a sportier appearance.
The hatchback rides on 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. Changes to the side profile and rear design are limited, while the updated Glanza is available in seven exterior colour options.

New Toyota Glanza Facelift 1.2-Litre New Petrol Engine
One of the biggest changes is the new 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated Z12E petrol engine. It produces 83 PS and 112 Nm of torque, replacing the outgoing model’s four-cylinder K-series petrol engine.
Transmission options include a five-speed manual and a five-speed AMT. Toyota is also offering a factory-fitted CNG version, producing 70 PS and 102 Nm. The CNG variant is available with an AMT option as well.
New Toyota Glanza Facelift Price and Rivals

The updated Glanza competes with the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Tata Altroz and Hyundai i20. The Baleno remains its closest rival because of their shared underpinnings and similar positioning in the premium hatchback segment.
With the new engine, ventilated seats and additional equipment, the Glanza has a stronger feature package. However, its higher starting price compared with the Baleno means buyers will need to weigh Toyota’s badge and the available features against the price difference before making a decision.

Beyond the Headlines
The New Toyota Glanza Facelift brings more than just cosmetic updates, with a new engine, additional comfort features and a stronger equipment package. However, its higher starting price compared with the Maruti Suzuki Baleno makes the buying decision more interesting.
For buyers, the real question is whether the Toyota badge, updated features and available CNG-AMT combination justify the extra cost. The answer will largely depend on the variant they choose and how much they value these additions over outright price competitiveness.
Auto India Daily Verdict
The New Toyota Glanza Facelift brings meaningful upgrades rather than a complete redesign. The new engine and added comfort features strengthen its appeal, but the final value proposition will depend on variant-wise pricing and the equipment offered at each price point.
