TVS iQube and Bajaj Chetak to face competition

Given expected pricing, the Ather Konark spotted testing could become the company’s most affordable electric scooter. In the Rs. 1 lakh to Rs. 1.25 lakh price bracket, it will directly challenge the entry-level variants of the TVS iQube and Bajaj Chetak.

With affordable pricing, Ather aims to further expand its market reach, especially among buyers looking for a practical electric scooter with premium features.

Auto India Daily Verdict

The Ather Konarc spotted testing clearly indicates that the company is now looking to further strengthen its foothold in the affordable electric scooter segment.

A design inspired by the EL01 concept, a new digital console, a practical layout, and expected aggressive pricing make it an interesting product even before launch.

If the company offers a good battery range and modern connected features at a competitive price, the Konarc could emerge as a strong alternative to the TVS iQube and Bajaj Chetak.
