Bajaj Auto’s upcoming adventure motorcycle has been spotted testing again, revealing new details about its engine, digital display and adventure-focused hardware.
Bajaj Auto is preparing to enter the adventure motorcycle segment with a Bajaj New ADV Bike, and the latest spy shots have revealed several important details about the upcoming model.

The motorcycle has been spotted testing in India once again, giving a clearer look at its engine, TFT instrument cluster, switchgear and overall design.
The Bajaj New ADV Bike is expected to be launched in India before making its way to international markets such as Brazil. Bajaj Brazil Executive Director Waldyr Ferreira has indicated that the motorcycle is expected to arrive before the end of 2026.

Bajaj New ADV Bike Likely To Get Pulsar N250-Based Engine
One of the biggest revelations from the latest spy images is the motorcycle’s engine setup. Earlier test mules had led to speculation that Bajaj could use a KTM-derived liquid-cooled engine. However, the latest images appear to show prominent cooling fins on the cylinder and no large radiator.
This suggests that the upcoming ADV could use an air/oil-cooled engine, most likely derived from the 249cc unit used in the Pulsar N250.
The Pulsar N250’s engine produces 24.5 PS of maximum power and 21.5 Nm of peak torque and comes paired with a 5-speed gearbox. Bajaj could modify the engine tuning and gearing for the adventure motorcycle to provide stronger low-end and mid-range performance.
Using an existing engine could also help Bajaj control manufacturing costs and keep the upcoming motorcycle competitively priced.
New TFT Display Spotted
The latest test motorcycle also features a fully digital TFT instrument console, which is expected to be one of the key features of the new ADV.
The display appears similar to the unit recently introduced on the new Pulsar N160 4V. That system supports features such as smartphone connectivity, Google Maps mirroring, notifications and music controls.
However, Bajaj has not confirmed the exact features that will be offered on the upcoming adventure motorcycle. Navigation and smartphone connectivity could be particularly useful for riders who intend to use the motorcycle for touring and long-distance journeys.
The switchgear also appears similar to the setup seen on the new Pulsar N160 4V, suggesting that Bajaj could share some electronic components between the two motorcycles.
Will It Get Ride Modes And Traction Control?
The possibility of multiple riding modes and switchable traction control remains unclear at this stage.
The latest spy images do not confirm these features, and Bajaj has not officially revealed the complete equipment list. More details are expected closer to the motorcycle’s launch.

Adventure-Focused Design And Hardware
The upcoming Bajaj New ADV Bike gets a typical adventure motorcycle design with a large front beak, upright riding position and a tall handlebar.
The motorcycle also features a long single-piece seat designed to accommodate both the rider and pillion.
The test mule has been spotted with a large rear top box, indicating its touring-focused positioning.
The motorcycle is expected to use wire-spoke wheels with dual-purpose tyres, with a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel setup likely. Suspension duties appear to be handled by conventional telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock.
Generous ground clearance and a high-mounted exhaust further highlight the motorcycle’s adventure-oriented design.
The presence of a saree guard also confirms that the motorcycle is being developed with the Indian market in mind.
Bajaj ADV Expected To Rival Xpulse 210 And V-Strom SX
Once launched, Bajaj’s new adventure motorcycle is expected to compete with models such as the Hero Xpulse 210, Suzuki V-Strom SX and Yezdi Adventure.
This makes pricing an important factor for Bajaj, especially as the motorcycle is expected to use an existing 250cc engine rather than a more expensive liquid-cooled powertrain.
Bajaj Trekker Name Could Be Used
The upcoming motorcycle could be launched under the Bajaj Trekker name. Bajaj has already trademarked the name, although the company has not officially confirmed that it will be used for this motorcycle.
The latest test mules appear to be getting closer to production specification, with most of the bodywork already taking shape. The headlamp and front section, however, continue to remain heavily camouflaged.
Bajaj New ADV Bike Launch Expected In 2026
Bajaj is expected to launch its first dedicated adventure motorcycle in India around the 2026 festive season. The motorcycle is also expected to reach Brazil before Christmas.
According to the source, multiple units are already undergoing component development and homologation in Manaus, Brazil.
With testing continuing and production-oriented equipment becoming increasingly visible, the official unveiling of Bajaj New ADV Bike could be getting closer.
