KTM has introduced a special edition of its flagship street-legal enduro motorcycle, the 500 EXC-F 6Days, for the 2027 model year.
The new model celebrates the 100th edition of the historic International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) event and features several competition-focused upgrades, including Portugal-inspired graphics.

The 2027 KTM 500 EXC-F 6Days carries forward the previous generation’s high-spec hardware. Its new graphics package is inspired by Portugal’s landscape and national colors, while the signature orange frame distinguishes it from the standard EXC-F range.

KTM 500 EXC-F 6Days: Engine and Performance
This special-edition enduro motorcycle is powered by a 510.9cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke SOHC engine. The engine uses Keihin electronic fuel injection and a 42mm throttle body. It also features an electric starter and a DDS clutch with Brembo hydraulics.
Power is transmitted to the rear wheel through a 6-speed gearbox. KTM has also provided a liquid-cooling system with a threaded radiator cap and bi-composite shrouds, which help improve cooling and airflow in demanding off-road conditions.
Competition-Focused Hardware
The 2027 KTM 500 EXC-F 6Days features several dedicated 6DAYS components compared to the standard motorcycle. These include orange-anodized CNC-machined triple clamps, an orange front axle puller, a composite skid plate, and an orange rear sprocket.
The motorcycle also features a semi-floating front brake disc and a solid rear brake disc with a rear brake safety wire. KTM has also added a 6DAYS-branded seat cover, frame protection set, and a special graphics package.
The suspension setup consists of a WP XACT 48mm closed-cartridge fork at the front and a WP XPLOR PDS shock absorber at the rear. Front suspension travel is 300mm and rear suspension travel is 310mm, making the motorcycle designed to tackle rough off-road terrain.
Portugal-Inspired 6DAYS Graphics
The biggest visual update for the 2027 edition is its new graphics package. KTM has given the motorcycle fresh graphics, drawing inspiration from Portugal, the host country of the centenary ISDE edition.
The gloss orange frame has been carried forward, while refreshed bodywork and 6DAYS Portugal graphics give it a limited-edition character.

KTM lists the 2027 500 EXC-F 6Days in the US market with an MSRP of $14,699. The motorcycle also comes with a 1-year Premium Manufacturer’s Warranty.
The 2027 KTM 500 EXC-F 6Days focuses on serious off-road and enduro riding rather than outright road performance. Its dedicated 6DAYS equipment, upgraded suspension hardware, and Portugal-inspired graphics make it a more exclusive, competition-oriented option in KTM’s regular EXC-F range.

2027 KTM 500 EXC-F 6Days clearly isn’t aimed at the regular commuter or even the typical adventure-bike buyer. It is a proper competition-focused enduro machine, with its 510.9cc engine, long-travel WP suspension and dedicated 6DAYS hardware giving it a serious off-road character.
The biggest attraction this time is the 100th ISDE-inspired Portugal graphics, which add exclusivity without taking away from its race-focused package. KTM has also confirmed the 2027 6DAYS range will include 300 EXC, 250 EXC-F, 350 EXC-F, 450 EXC-F and 500 EXC-F models.
